On a slightly different note I was reading that the fuel cost for taking HMS Medusa to the Normandy beaches would be 6000-8000 pounds and that it costs 20000 pounds a year to keep her shipshape. I wondered if you had considered running costs for Sarinda in the future.
Wooden boats, I had a 40ft Bury Boat - a project to be sure. I sort out the local expert on Wooden Boats and his advice, burn it and save yourself a lot of trouble and he wasn't kidding to be sure🙂. I have spent far more time working on them than sailing them, and not a single regret.
20 years ago, I looked at a Dutch barge on River Stort near Hertford. It looked great until you looked more closely. It was riveted plate construction so at least 100 years old. Even worse, it had numerous welded patches. What was the chance it had rusted into holes and would never be reliably repaired. I walked away but have always wished I could have taken on something similar.
When selecting a tender it is important that the tube is usable IOW can you walk or sit on it. Also think about how you will be boarding the tender from the main vessel? Sturdy or solid bows are needed
It's great to see the support that you, as a relatively small channel are receiving from some of the big names in marine. You neglected to mention that you may have had 22 overall but didn't you get #1 female? Those roll up boat hooks are the duck's guts.

Something mentioned on another channel worth thinking about, great to have all the toys, but the old analogue will still be there when the power is down or doing what electronics often does. Keep a percentage of the important instruments analogue.
Oil pressure can be T’d off to a gauge and a transducer. Coolant uses a resistance transducer. Very reliable & no moving parts. One sensor should drive digital and analogue. If not, fit two transducers. Turbo boost or better mass airflow can be read from a MAF sensor. Exhaust gas temperatures are thermocouples or resistance bulbs. Use one for digital and another for analogue.
Bought my paddle boards just after meeting Gemma. Wife said I wasn’t allowed to buy any boats but she said nothing about boards…… got 50% off, so bought 2.
We had alot of fun too - unfortunately, we spent far too much time on the Shawbury Wine stand (And spent too much money) You will have to let us know how the boat hook thingy works out!
OOH, I'll have one of these, and two of those, maybe six of that one - - - Money? No, I don't have any - they're not free? 🙂 - - - That rolled up thing with a cable and plug on it, on the boathook stand - looked like an inflatable radio aerial, in the glimpse I got.
I don't know if venders (advertisers) have figured out I'm sure some have but Utube sites are hitting a focused audience sponsoring them is better than shotgunning your message out to an an audience most of which aren't interested in it.
Do you know how many Southampton people go to the Boat Show, population around 1/4 million of which only 18,000 live inside the Town boundaries and only ?% go to the show

Mayflower Park is allowed to be close to the public for 10 days in a year for maintenance, they use these ten days for the show, it is a public park that is open 24 hours for people on foot Cheapest ticked this year was £19-99 for PBO readers, but £44 was the standard ticket for 2 days, VIP tickets available at a cost of £156.25 per person
