This is a really thorough list for getting prepped to take an Airstream on the road, plus it’s very well presented. Hope to meet up with you and Lisa again while on the road.

Thanks for the kind words. I was worried about presenting this topic and how to make it both entertaining and informative. Hopefully we got close to the mark. Looking forward to crossing paths at a campsite in the future. Happy camping and safe travels.

Excellent video! The key takeaway is that de-winterizing is SO much more than just pumping out the pink stuff. BTW, that's Varsity Level Stuff that you had the screw covers in your spare parts kit. Well done...

Thanks guys. As you know, a little pride in ownership goes a long way. We hope to keep our AS in as good of shape over the years as the LuvSub. Happy camping and safe travels

Thanks for watching. Still trying out the hitch. So far so good. We have several trips upcoming and will continue to test the AirSafe hitch. Safe travels.

Such a clean rig! Tell us the truth; Rick planted those pine needles behind the window guards just for the video! 😅

I sure wish those pine needles were a prop. Unfortunately not and they get everywhere 🤣

    Rick,
Thanks for several reminders - great video.
QUICK question - can you post the link for the rubber screw covers you showed for the inside of the window?
    TIA!

Hi Lee…I posted a link to the rubber screw caps in the description. They may be out of stock right now but I’m sure they (Woodland Airstream) will get more soon. Thanks for watching and happy camping.

@@thewrightlife - Rick, as you noted, Woodland was out so, they are now on my “Wish List”. Are there any other parts you keep in your “spare parts” box that might be helpful? Thanks and hope to see you down the road.

@LeeH-Ranger83 …here is a link to a Top 10 Critical Spare Parts video I made a while back.
      ruclips.net/video/fP9JIW0xiao/видео.htmlsi=iNF82RjCRK-mQxY0
As for non-critical parts I keep on hand they range from hinges, to latches, to a variety of nuts/bolts and screws, Sharkbite PEX connectors, etc…. Hope this helps. Happy camping and safe travels.

@LeeH-Ranger83 …this may help as well. This is a link to my spare parts list I have on Amazon: www.amazon.com/shop/thewrightlife

@@thewrightlife - Rick, thanks for your Amazon list and it was the first place I looked and that is when I did NOT SEE the rubber screw caps and that is why I figured it came from the Woodland Airstream parts folks.
      Thank you.

Great video,,,, i was wondering. I have a truck camper. I don't put the pink R.V.antifreeze in my system. I use 30 psig in my city water hookup. After i drain my 30 gallon fresh tank, my cassette toilet flush resivour and my water heater. I then blow out all my lines. Isolating the water heater because it is drained. After all lines are blown out completely, cassette toilet, kitchen sink and shower. I will continue with the air pressure and run my water pump dry for about 30 seconds. After completing the task. RV antifreze is only put in the shower and kitchen sink traps. Then I refill the cassette flush resivour ( sp ) with antifreeze and flush the toilet a few times until i see antifreeze in the toilet. When de winterizing, i don't have to worry about flushing antifreeze out of all the lines. But I still sanitize them just as you. Great video, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
