Thank you so much for this once more man, such an honor to be have had a the chance to talk to you about things and see how it all comes together. Also somewhat surreal given how religiously I watch these to hear myself and see my work up here ahah!
It’s kindof like we’re getting two videos from you this week 😁
DUDE SO FUCKING EXCITED TO SEE YOU GET SOME RECOGNITION AROUND HERE!! YOU’RE MOST DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVORITE FILM PHOTOGRAPHERS!!
W
What a delightful film and introduction to William Sheepskin. Kids got mad vision and skillz... Thanks Bryan
This guy is just awesome! Thank you for the internet and for letting me enjoy your existence William ❤️
The internet is definitely a lovely thing. Wouldn’t have found out about so many amazing people without it.
Thank you kindly for finding things awesome and enjoying my existence on the internet Chris haha!
Two of my favourite photographers and youtubers in the one video...brilliant
Such a great piece. William is a legend. Very easy to listen to and has a great philosophy on photography.
And thanks Bryan for using your channel to let more people know about great artists!
Really spelled your name with an i instead of y…
Appreciate it Brae. Will is indeed a legend.
@@BryanBirks hahahah fuck me 😂
definitely one of the hardest hitting photographers today 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wonderlik! A real joy seeing your fotos, my china! Some are special. Alles van die beste! cheers.
Billy Sheeps is just the peak. Love this guy and believe his tremendous talent and personality should be recognized. Thanks Bryan for putting this out there and featuring his work!
Will deserves all the love on his RUclips channel! True photographer, has a great philosophy on the craft. He has an amazing knowledge on film photography. His low-fi feel fits his easy-going nature, you see it in his photos and the work itself. Beautiful images!
🖤
Glad you did one of these with William, what a great collab!
🖤
Will has one of the most vibey channels out there. Imo his work is such a genuine tale of who he is... The music is nostalgic yet hypnotic, and he has a golden voice that is just entrancing. You will likely forget that you're watching a photography video. It's clear he puts a lot of soul into the videos. He certainly produces stellar images, that will slap you like a pastel dream. More importantly, he creates a experience unique to himself and his life in SA.
Another banger to add to the vault. Truly exceptional work Bryan. You are honestly laying a lot of ground for this community with the series, and that makes it a hell of a lot stronger.
Cheers!
I wouldn’t be anywhere without the people in the community so it’s only right to give some their credit when credit is highly deserved.
Another edition of a great series. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing!!! Will is so relaxing and fun to watch, and it's always a welcome to see film photographers around the world outside the U.S.
I was not expecting William S. to be featured in one of your videos but I am so glad that you made it! I started following him after I saw his work in a rural town of South Africa. I was moved by the portraits of young students dressed in uniforms in unpaved streets. There was something beautiful and at the same time unsettling in those pictures that didn't leave me indifferent.
Portraits are great. I agree. But I’ve fallen in love with his colors and overall feel lately as well.
@@BryanBirks I agree
Will is a talented photographer, I especially love his portraits! Also his accent is epic and listening to some weird South African Dutch is fun
Not only the accent but the way in each he blows my vocabulary out of the water as well.
William's videos are always so refreshing. Thank you for recommending him a few months back Bryan.
Welcome Tiago. Thanks for watching ✌🏻
Great video, very natural and really interesting
I loved that. I love this series too. So interesting to see these profiles. I also love Will’s channel anyway so was predisposed to liking it, but you do manage to tell a good story about people in your films.
Thank you Martin!
What an absolute treat to watch this! So slickly and seamlessly put together as well.
Thank you Claire!
Thank you Bryan for this. The way you edited this interview was so awesome, I was highly entertained. I follow William for a while now and I truly think you showed what's so cool about him.
Thanks Francis! Means a lot.
used to binge Will's videos when I was deciding if I should buy an rb67 I found in an antique store. Super glad I did, it's become my favourite camera ever~~ thx king
Love to hear it.
Awesome episode! You guys are both really cool dudes so it’s great to see collaboration happening between the two of you :)
Maybe one day Will will come to the ole US ✌🏻
Whoa, I started watching it yesterday during premiere, but had to go away. Rewatched it from beginning just now, really great a unique, love it.
Thank you Bryan for featuring a truely unique photographer @William Sheepskin.
🖤
Hey there, Will here!!
...and today...
I’m in a Bryan Birks video, whoooooooop!
@@willysheepskin oh yeah 💛
Powerful Willy sheepskin! Great video as per usual.
Appreciate it T.J!
Yessss I love Will's channel and his work
one of my fav channels for sure
He's one of a kind.
Terrific video....
i'm a big fan of William even though i only discovered him recently, its very rare that i like most or all of a photographer work, especially with photographers on youtube i either like their video content or their photos but with will i enjoy both
So I kinda know about apartheid and all, but how common is the scene at 4:17? Kinda had me shocked he was saying "master"!
As for William's photography and his way of going about it: really inspiring. Lots to learn from this guy, for sure!
Not sure on that interaction. Will have to ask Mr. Sheepskin!
why, why the goodness gracious me people downvote this video??! it is sooo good
Haters gonna hate.
Howdy from Hertfordshire
Howdy from St. Louis
It was a great one
Great video! I follow yours and Williams channel for a while now and really look forward for each video! Keep up the good work, both of you! ❤️
Thanks Herry!
I guess that was Afrikaans, sounded German. Thanks for the Video Bryan and Mr Sheepskin.
So interesting, thanks for sharing!
🖤
Quite the interesting video!
yeah good stuff
Ooooh that picture at 3:16 is awesome! Oh and ya fuck people who need to walk around telling people their photos are no good. Those dudes are the worst and are usually shitty photographers.
