I really think Sea is the pinnacle of traditional doll. She really has the energy that 90s dolls had. The milk that people say is “traditional doll” really started with April.
I had wondered that because when I go back and watch old doll vids they didn't dance milky. So I've been confused about what's considered traditional doll.
Sagi Eatz yeah a lot of fans that got into dolls after KP and forever dolls from April and KP’s era were set that traditional doll was milky but that’s not traditional at all.
Let me educate you new school doll fans real quick. Seaera Cole put the Dolls back on the map PERIODT! I’ve been a Doll fan since the 90’s, I attended Southern University 2002-2005, and I’ve seen many Dolls come and go. Seaera brought the bounce to the dolls, making them less prissy! She upped the energy tremendously, along with adding new formations, and she added a lightness to the Dolls making them more personable. Ask some of y’all favs where they received their inspiration and encouragement from to even audition for Dolls. I loved the fact that she NEVER thought she was bigger than the organization, she only wanted to propel it forward, and she graciously shared her spotlight with her sisters. Seaera Cole will always be my favorite Doll. Oh did I mention Seaera Cole was the first Dancing Doll from New Orleans since the late 80’s early 90’s, making her the first and only Captain thus far from my city. Seaera's influence on the dolls was the "bounce." They had never had a captain teach the doll counts with such a bouncy bounce. If you notice, Seaera did not do anything close to doll/sting. Stamper started that. Seaera did classic doll with a whole lotta bounce.
