I love your videos, would really love it if you posted you enjoying the pig and all of the other wonderful and exotic foods you get to enjoy and describe it to all of us that have never had it! Safe travels and extraordinary adventures to you both! And big fish as well!!
Thank you! And we highly recommend a visit to Tonga. Vava'u is well set up for chartering, if you aren't taking your own boat... Lots of places to explore in a small area. It could keep you busy for weeks! If you are on your own boat be sure to not to miss the islands in the Ha'apai group. We will be showing these off in our next video :) - Ash
The kite boarding shots with the shade from the clouds was incredible. Also the shadow from the drone. Ashley your enthusiasm is top knotch. Excellent edit!
Thanks for watching! Kiteboarding in Tonga was top notch, so many different places to explore. I couldn't help but be a little enthusiastic... about everything ;). - Ash
A spectacle of images, audio, joy ... It is very good to watch you, present the places and walks with a lot of enthusiasm, dedication ... It is really wonderful ...
Sorry for my English, I'm learning one more time and I will not stop anymore. When you come to Brazil, let me introduce you to places and sailors in Rio de Janeiro, Angra dos Reis - RJ, Paraty - RJ and others ...
Thanks Anselmo, so happy you are enjoying the videos! We will likely visit Brazil along the way! We will ping you for sure when we finally make it there, it's always so great to have local knowledge of a place we are visiting!. Still a few miles to go before brazil though :). - Ash
I love the new techniques you have used in this video. I do wish you would slow down on the panorama view you had. All you really saw was a blur, and it was such a cool vantage point. You are doing a great job!
Thanks Dave! Oh man the sound from the go pro is usually atrocious! Makes me think we might have shot that part above water with our DSLR with the mike attached... We often drag it along out and about in the dinghy (in a dry bag for transit)! Happy sailing - Ash
We had a fantastic holidays, thank you! And sorry for the small hibernation (break) over Christmas :). Thanks for watching and glad you are enjoying! - Ash
Great video as always, I so enjoy your editing, videography and to be at that level some day. Any chance you can share the name of the song during your amazing free diving segment. I'm really digging it and Shazam doesn't know it. Cheers. Moritz
Wow look at those amazing bananas tied to your boat. You can live on bananas alone for years if they are not sprayed with pesticides you can eat the entire banana with skin for extra nutrients. The skin in hot water makes a healthy sleep aid. Tonga looks amazing. You guys did a beautiful video. Ben or Ashley what is it you did for work prior? Any editing or video experience? Ben where in Germany are you from?
Awesome video again guys. the drone has added a real feel forthe locations. it only takes my jealousy to another level. lol I'm really enjoying your channel. it makes me want to sail Away.
Just catching up from Ontario ! You two are too much ! Makes me want to sell everything and sail away . My world seems so small. How old are you both ? And where are you now ? Leaving for Mexico tomorrow and trying to save a couple of your last videos for the trip.. keep up the good work .
Hey Mike! Thanks for following mate. We're in New Zealand right now getting NAHOA ready for another epic season. I know what you mean with your world feeling small. Ours was too when we worked like crazy. Enjoy Mexico! Love that country.
For sure! We had a big BBQ with fellow cruisers and also gave some away to friends when we hit Beveridge reef. The rest we froze and ate! Took us a while, but it was so good until the very last piece.
We're gonna go sail across the Indian Ocean! Just staging now in Canada.....Not sure how we're going to get all these boat parts back to New Zealand. Hrmmmmm.... Maybe the ticket agent at the counter will take pity on us !
Guys feel free to keep the episodes longer, you don't have to cut and edit it down so much... Even if its only random drone or under water shots, this footage is fucking amazing you guys are pumping out some great content!
Thanks CM. Yeah, it's always a fine line. Our number one priority is to not waste our viewers time. But agreed, we could make some of the cuts a bunch longer .
Nice one - I enjoy your videos. Do you ever feel your "going off piste" may equate to some kind of trespass? I think I may. Perhaps there's something I'm missing here? I'm thinking of cruising the South Pacific and thus am asking as a genuine question. Thanks again, Stu
The Tongan family who lives on this particular island are very friendly to cruisers. They host dinners and encourage people to come and explore. Most island people are friendly and welcoming and love to show you around and have you explore their islands. We hope to see you our here and usually the most interesting things are found a little off piste :). - Ash
Good question Stu Kincaid, but let me assure you! I am Tongan and you would never be made out of place in Tonga,we would welcome you at anytime. These people would not be regarded as trespass in our way of thinking!Go and experience Tonga. We might not have money but we are richer in love!So go over and visit, especially Vava'u and Haapai group!Cheers!
Did you not stop at beverage reef while there? Said to be a cool Place to kiteboard at. Why did you have to declare tobaco and alcohol? Was there a fee for having "excess" and what was the limit? What did you pay for cruising permit etc?
Hey! We stopped at Beveridge. Check out the video here: ruclips.net/video/4TST9_tjha0/видео.html I can't remember exactly what the cruising permit was but for a Canadian citizen it's about $70 in Tonga. Tobaco and Alcohol is OK to have in Tonga as long as you don't bring it ashore. Sometimes it also depends on which customs guy you get ;)
My gosh that was friggn awesome you guys ar perfect for each other you love so many of the same things. One thing please don't get so damn close to the edge of the cliffs your standing on. When your parents watch your videos they must crap themselves, one trip and it's a long way down""
if you strap yourself down to the bow can you use the kite to keep the boat going could you use the kite as a sale if you strap yourself down I would think you could probably about 1 or 2 knots I don't know tell me yes or no can you do that
Lee Martin Jr It’s spelled sail. I hope you weren’t serious about them strapping themselves to the boat to use the kite as a sail. Hardly a practical idea.
Lol. Haven't tried strapping ourselves in and towing the boat along with a kite. It would be an interesting sight for sure, although may be a little hard on the old body ;). We will keep it in mind, you never know what crazy sail combination Ben will think of next! - Ash
Such a beautiful part of our world! Thank you for sharing! Safe travels ❤️
Guys I love your editing technics. Just getting better and better. Thanks.

For some reason I have always wanted to go to Tonga. Next best thing. Thanks.
Tonga is pretty awesome. Top 3 places we've visited in the last 3 years. Moorings charter fleet operates out of the north. Spectacular easy cruising.
- Ash

I’m knackered watching you two 🤪👍
Rest up bro before the next adventure.

If you ever do sailing lessons; I’d like the first slot. No jokes! I want your expertise in my hands!
Wow that whale!

Sailing Nahoa looking forward to your next adventure. Forgot to ask ...where did you find room to put in a washing machine ..Haha!
Good shit. Were you able to gift some of that huge Tuna ?
For sure! We had a big BBQ with fellow cruisers and also gave some away to friends when we hit Beveridge reef. The rest we froze and ate! Took us a while, but it was so good until the very last piece.
Yippee!!!
Tonga is very dedicated to the Sabbath Day. Everything is closed on Sunday with the exception of bakeries and possibly the market.
The fish FLY sometimes 20ft
Thanks for sharing this video --the diving looked absolutely amazing!!
Question, where are you guys going once you're done sailing the pacific?
We're gonna go sail across the Indian Ocean! Just staging now in Canada.....Not sure how we're going to get all these boat parts back to New Zealand. Hrmmmmm.... Maybe the ticket agent at the counter will take pity on us !
Does the reef show on your autopilot device?! I’m curious how one would know it’s there....
He said he's looking for spirits on the boat. Ashley pulled out a vodka. Pretty sure that has spirit inside the bottle.
Guys feel free to keep the episodes longer, you don't have to cut and edit it down so much... Even if its only random drone or under water shots, this footage is fucking amazing you guys are pumping out some great content!
20 or 20+ minutes of this would be magical!
Thanks CM. Yeah, it's always a fine line. Our number one priority is to not waste our viewers time. But agreed, we could make some of the cuts a bunch longer .
There be whales here! What a great adventure.....
Nice one - I enjoy your videos.

To bad you didn’t just pickup that little flying fish and he would be happy swimming away
The flying fish looked like he was still alive ☹️
if you strap yourself down to the bow can you use the kite to keep the boat going could you use the kite as a sale if you strap yourself down I would think you could probably about 1 or 2 knots I don't know tell me yes or no can you do that

I have heard of this too! Not something I have seen yet though. Would be an amazing sight to catch a tanker with one of those up in the act!
Them whales tho... Vava'u is the best
i have question for the two of you if you are from Canada why does your boat have a German flag on it
That spider is probably a delicacy! I mean, it's not a Coconut Crab but, I am sure it has some serious butt-juice? HaHa...
“Off Piste” Ash a fencer?
Not a fencer ;). - Ash
the fish wasnt dead
Any comment is a good comment ✌️
Talk to people in Tonga on Ham Radio lots of times.
