Francis is a spiritual teacher in the tradition of Advaita Vedanta (Non-Duality). A long time disciple of Jean Klein whom he met in 1975, he was a friend of Robert Linssen, Wolter Kiers, Ivan Ajar, William Samuel and Robert Adams. He was also influenced by J. Krishnamurti, Krishna Menno and Weir Wu Weir whom he knew personally. Francis transmits the ancient teaching of Non-Duality, the common ground of Advaita Vedanta, Ch'an Buddhism, Zen,Taoism and Sufism.

I guess, because it can be random, it comes down to grace...
And though it may appear a person has done nothing, in fact, may have done much in a subtle way. Then there is the interconnectivity of everything. If I awaken, then the ripples of that goes through the entire creation.
A glimpse into the reality of consciousness is the entry onto the path, the beginning of the path.
As Francis says, what follows is the self realization process (the elimination of the residuals of ignorance).
even the enightened mind has a body that plays out its karma - the difference lies in the way of looking at it, reacting or non reacting to it and taking it serious or not
