Loved watching you again. Your choice of projects is wonderful. Can’t wait to see more of Owl. He is stunning. Mine is still in time out but have brought him downstairs again. I set up a rotation of four projects for this year but have been stitching only two and a travel project. Suddenly, last month I have had the urge to start more (a HAED shelf no less) but don’t even have the time for the four I want to get on with. Not sure what that is all about. I think it will be like a lifetime project. Make sure to stitch what you want when you want. Take care and get well.

Great rotation! I can't wait to get my frame and stand so I can start my first ever full-coverage pattern! I know previously you said you like using DMC for different reasons, so...if you would like to watch a video on how to overdye your own DMC floss so as to get some of the variegation for a pattern and maybe save on the expense of some of the specialty flosses I would like to recommend a Flosstuber from Canada. Her name is Sarcygurls Stitching. She's amazing. I love Barging Through - I've seen so many British tv series that show these barges on the river and this is one of the designs that I thought I would possibly do. Happy Stitching!

Your excitement for your new rotation was awesome, I was buzzing for you. After stitching on the same things for such a long time it must feel brilliant to pick up something different. Loved all your new starts, particularly the glendon place and the cross eyed cricket. Of course the Chris Dunn is awesome too!! I always use storage boxes for my bobbins for full coverage, I really like them for organisation. I only use bobbins for full coverage but I find it the best way for organising so much floss. Hi Lauren, having loved seeing your progress on wise old owl since the first time you showed him, I’ll miss seeing him but my jaw dropped when I saw your new Chris Dunn project and having watched this with my sister we well and truly fell down the rabbit hole 🤣. I’ve been fighting the urge to start one of these pieces as I’ve already got more than enough projects on the go but somehow we’ve decided that we should both start one for my 40th in December. Saying that, if I ever can stitch one it will be barging through. I even screen shotted the picture so I can look at it and discover something new in it each time. One of my first discoveries was the name of the narrow boat. Mason’s Joy. Mason was my maiden name. Hi Lauren, having loved seeing your progress on wise old owl since the first time you showed him, I’ll miss seeing him but my jaw dropped when I saw your new Chris Dunn project and having watched this with my sister we well and truly fell down the rabbit hole 🤣. I’ve been fighting the urge to start one of these pieces as I’ve already got more than enough projects on the go but somehow we’ve decided that we should both start one for my 40th in December. Oh, Lauren, I was thrilled to see your choice of the latest Chris Dunn to start. I had never heard of him until your flossetub and now,of course, I have pursued them all and love them all. Saying that, if I ever can stitch one it will be barging through. I even screen shotted the picture so I can look at it and discover something new in it each time. One of my first discoveries was the name of the narrow boat. Mason’s Joy. Mason was my maiden name. Do you think that is a sign? 😉 loving your stitching (I have no idea how you can do 2/1 full cross on 25 count) as well as your flosstube. Hope Mama Flossabilities takes a peek someday on the “look at me “ side of the camera, but if never I sure enjoy her stitching. I know it’s so tempting but I’ve come this far just doing the 3 I challenged myself to so if I start them I know I’ll get hooked and mr owl won’t see any progress 😂 saying that I am very excited to start them , getting there with mr owl, just 18,000 stitches to go at this point 🤪 happy stiching 🧵💗

Very excited to see you are gonna be stitching barging through. It is such a fun piece. I usually would start top left but I started with the badger. I purchased sky blue cloud fabric from chromatic alchemy to save me a few stitches.
