The Tea Garden, Cinder and Percy Jackson are definitely on my TBR, but everything else is new to me! Great wrap up of each book. Sounds like some real gems in there and I love the diversity you have in your reading! Thank you for expanding my knowledge of middle grade books 💖💖💖. Great job with the name game!!
aggie morton sounds wonderful planning on adding them i truly enjoy the words you choose, like delightful, such a pleasing experience im with you on over-repetition, drags books down cinder cover does look amazing, steampunk vibe hmmm, may read percy jackson, maybe fantastic job in may!!
Oh- Jason Reynolds is amazing!! I have read a bunch of his but I am not sure if that is one of them! I have loved everything from him- I am so glad you found him!!
Sounds like you had a great reading month! I'm trying to intentionally read LGBTQIA+ books June for Pride, so I've added Melissa, Rick, and Green to my list. I just finished Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. So good! We read White Bird by RJ Palacio for our June book club. Have you read that graphic novel?
Love this! I hope you enjoy the Alex Gino books. I'm hoping to highlight some additional LGBTQ+ books for June and Pride too :). Simon should count for your banned book list too!! I haven't yet read the graphic novel of White Bird but loved the novelization. I should pick that one up... my bookclub wants to go see the movie in theaters this fall when it is rerelease so maybe we can do a graphic novel read before that! Did your club like it?
@pageswithpostelwait9720 of course Simon was banned. Somehow I missed that. Yes, they like White Bird. We had a good a discussion. For a few it was their first graphic novel. It was the first time we had read middle grade in book club, so good discussion on that too. I was able to get the audio for Melissa & Rick on Libby. There is one copy of Green in the library system I have access to, so we'll see how long that takes. Look forward to your next video.

Hey! Me again. Have you read Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds? It's more YA than middle-grade, but it is incredible!
