@SteelerzReignSupremeII maybe 3 or 4 good cornorbacks in this entire draft. Not a surprise they focused more on the OL with deeper and better talent at the position coming out of college.

Troy was my 1B tackle (Fuaga was 1A), Frazier was my 1A center and Mason McCormick was my 1B center and 2 guard behind Christian Haynes.
I love this draft I'm seriously excited for the trenches for the first time in a long time
I definitely wasn’t expecting another O-lineman but honestly I consider all of these luxury pics at this point. Probably just going off of best available by their evaluations. So 🤷🏼♂️

@@SteelerzReignSupremeII I mean they could’ve gone DB but there really wasn’t much left to make an immediate impact anyway 🤷🏼♂️. That’s my opinion. Considering Trice looked so good in the offseason last year and the trade of Johnson for Jackson I’m thinking they feel like they may have their first three set. Then you still got Rush and a couple other guys. Minkah and Elliot will probably be the main safety tandem. Kazee will fill in like he has. I think the biggest issue last year was the defense was always run down. The offense couldn’t convert at all. With the O-line additions, new Qb and offensive coordinator change hopefully that’s not the case this year. Then it’s less risk for the defense to get torched.

If the Steelers would had never hired Arthur Smith would the Steelers had addressed this O-line in this matter❓️One thing i do know is going back to the latter years of Ben where he had to make adjustments by getting the ball out sooner due to the O-line lack of protection, It just snow balled from there.I'm starting to like this hire already.

They drafted for the future and also in the event of an injury. They can't stash him on the practice squad because he will be snatched up immediately. If he demonstrates that he can be better than Moore in any way, Moore is out of here. I wanted the team to take JPJ in round one and a right tackle in round two, but they have the scouts, the expertise and all the things they need to make decisions. My opinion and thought are more emotional, etc., but what do I know. Nothing!
I will rely on the team to do what they know. So, I will support them in the picks they selected and hopefully they are start-ups and or starters.
Reports are that JPJ is a little suspect when it comes to snapping the ball and supposedly he's going to play G for the Raiders so more than likely the Steelers were better getting Frazier so we'll see.
Mason will be a starter next season James Daniel's is a FA..this season he will be OG/C backup on GameDay Dan Moore and Herbig have become expendable
Not Herbig. His versatility on the interior makes him three spots backup. 5 if desperate.
Big Dan is the expendable, valuable piece. We can package him in a trade with a team ( everyone ALWAYS looking for experience at left tackle) for whichever splash move Omar does after the draft.
Where the hell are our corners?!?? Needed cb higher than 6th round, which makes Me think we will sign an expensive FA, since we opened up so much cap space already, and if we traded Moore, then that’s even more $ under the cap

This pick was unexpected for me but this kid is a dog and i love it. Less of a technician and more so just mean, and if you put him next to Frazier who i also think has a man steak and will learn to play angry in Pittsburgh i think this is a really sneaky pick and would be shocked if he didn't eventually become a starter

James Daniels is a UFA after this season and has an 11.2M cap hit. This guy is likely his replacement. Cam is also a UFA come 2025 with a 22.4M cap hit.
Just off these 2 guys alone, we can easily resign Freiemuth is a UFA come 2025 as well as Nagee and Pickens who are UFAs come 2026.

100% needed to look at more CB or WR depth. If they shore up the o line but can't pass the ball down field or stop the pass for that matter it's all for not. Our secondary has been abysmal, I think we missed out on real starter quality at CB in this draft. But we shall see I guess

No reflection on the kid - sounds like a good player - but the glaring need was Corner/Slot DB and there were good ones still available. Great draft up to this point - could have really put it over the top. Head scratcher.
