On a Z wiring goes thru the hazard switch, and the amp meter. I got rid of amp meter. Using a bolt meter. The turn and head light operate as a Ground. Not as power to lights. Best to use relays to keep mad 12v thru the harness. Flocking came out very Ferrarish,
Thanks! We found the hazard switch issue right when uploading this. We got rid of the ammeter completely and the volt meter is in a different section of wiring. What are you meaning about the mad 12v? Thanks though :)
We finished it all up, we found that the hazard switch does allows power flow through all of the steering column wiring, and the ammeter can be removed completely and just hard wire bypassed. The headlights on the late model s20 chassis that we were how you explained with the low amount of power to the light bulbs because of the power travel through the headlight switch, but there were relays setup on the car from the owner for the headlight switch to operate the relay switch. We appreciate the comment, were gonna be uploading the final video here soon, it all looks great in person!!
Good job guys. Make panels over the tool/smugglers compartment for the 6x9's please don't cut those original covers! I have a 76 280z I put a Haltech in and that took a longer than I thought. It seems when you're working on those cars, it always takes longer than you think lol. I would like to know what glue you use that will get the headliner to stay up. I have tried several and ended up putting 2 aluminum strips from passenger to drivers side to hold mine up. That flocking turned out nice. I have to do my heater core so maybe I'll take my dash-plate off and flock the flock out of it.
Thanks! We ended up making covers for the tool compartment and the speakers came out great! We used 3M headliner adhesive spray and it held the headliner up just fine.
That flock was 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome car .. is there anyplace I can see the finished car & some nice photos of the interior without scrubbing through RUclips videos?
Love how it’s turning out guys!
