At 0:50 I had it backwards. Focus the main wheel first with your left eye and then use the diopter to focus the right eye 👍 Link to the binoculars: (As Amazon Associates we do earn from qualifying purchases) Vortex Diamondback HD Binoculars: amzn.to/46I2x8
I own the Vortex DB HD 42's and they are very good. I am more of a novice birder. The quality of the design and manufacturing make them a delight to use. I researched a number of different brands and chose Vortex. For all the reasons you mentioned. Excellent video. Love you guys!
Really? Other than to recoup several hundred $, I'm not sure why you'd do that. I do have the 10x42 DB's and really like them. I once had a pair of Swarovski 10x42 EL's when they initially came out and they were amazing. They were stolen. Would I trade these DB's for that pair of EL's...YOU BETCHA!
You must be blind! I tested Vortex Razor HDs and the Zeiss Conquest HDs. The Zeiss blew away the Vortex. Vortex optics are not good! They’re the definition of mediocrity!
We’ll be doing a comprehensive scope buyer’s guide vid soon. Vortex scopes are solid though! Celestron seems solid as well and Swarovski, but they’re probably the most expensive.

Thanks for the review! This has been my first “real” set of binos. After a year of use I’m still really satisfied with them
Those binoculars are exactly what I use for birding. No complaints. I would recommend them as well.
This is easily my favorite birding/wildife channel especially as someone from Milwaukee
Thanks so much!

This is what my wife and I both use (10x42) and are so happy with them. We wouldn't ever change brands. The warranty is incredible.
My first real pair of binoculars and they’ve held up extremely well! Love them!
This is the first "real" pair I purchased and I enjoy them a lot. Work well with glasses too.
I got a pair of these for my GF, and she loves them. They do work great... But I just use my 800mm + crop body, for a 1280mm equivalent :)
Hi Guys, I have these bins and have been really impressed especially against the price here in the UK.
Awesome! I just bought these but opted for the 10x
I just ordered the 10x as well. How are you liking them?
I have a Vortex Viper which I'm really pleased with.
Would love to see your digiscope setup.
This is the adapter I was using and then just set up on the binoculars. ruclips.net/video/VkXsqBQZEtg/видео.htmlsi=CsBHBKvI-hv3dul4
Thanks. I have the Celestron Nature DX 8x42, which are decent, but was thinking about the Vortex Diamondback HD 10x50 as another option.
The Vortex warranty is outstanding. Yep, they are a great value (performance/dollar) but the warranty is what makes Vortex outstanding.
Hello, thanks for the informative review! Would you be able to provide the external dimensions of the carry case?
ndback.I used to have $1500 Zeiss and Leica bins. Sold both to get Vortex Diamo
Love my Vortex bins!

what adaptor do you use for the binos?
Great video! Thank you!
I controversially prefer the Celestron Nature ED binoculars because they are cheaper and they work better from my experience with the two optics.
I’ll have to check out that pair!
I really like the Athlon 8x42 with ED glass...about the same price.
Never tried that one before
we have one and like it a lot

I ❤ mine!
'Focus right eye first' < WRONG. OVERVOICE this VERY important critic error.
