Awww that's sweet you wanted to prioritise the OG's 😂 I watch every single one of your videos ❤❤❤
I appreciate that
I love them both Tracey! The black and white one is my favorite! Wow, beautiful ❤
Thanks, yes that's my fave too :)
Wow! Tracey, both of them are absolutely stunning. The green one looks very realistic. But the black and white one is quite incredible, so much to look at! Another brilliant video, thank you 💐❣️
Thank you @frans3474. So pleased that you like it. Thanks for your kind comment :)
I really like them both. They are very pretty. Thank you for all that you do!❤❤❤

Glad you enjoyed it Sudha
Absolutely gorgeous…no choosing which one I like better than the other….
Thank you! 😊
Your geodes are extremely beautiful, I love how you’ve done them. Thank you so much x❤️
Thanks so much 😊
Even tho I won't be able to participate in this giveaway 😥, I'd like to thank you for appreciating the ones who are true viewers of your channel and not just jumping on because they see there's a giveaway to be had. I appreciate you and enjoy learning as you share your knowledge, experiments, and your own learning process with us!
Thanks Black Sheep :)
Thank you for prioritizing us that watch all of your videos it's very sweet of you. Great video as always🩵💚💜
My pleasure 😊Just felt the best way I thought
Great to see, you are practicing what you are learning. I had a little giggle, when you said, ‘I think I have too many colours,” because I would have wanted to use all those gorgeous colours, on the first geode, as well 😍. Knowing me, I wouldn’t have had such good control, as you did. Well done Tracey 👏♥️
Thanks :) every day is a school day
That was really clever Tracey. I liked the greeny one best out of the two. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks so much 😊
They are beautiful, Tracy!! I think this would make a wonderful project for starting out. It seems you can learn so much just from that one type of project. Gorgeous!!❤
Thanks :) I'm glad you like it
I love how they have created these base geodes! What a brilliant idea. ❤ I loved your idea of only filling up the crystal molds part ways to create your centre crystals. Thankyou for sharing ❤
Thanks Rechelle. Yes the bases are a fab idea
Those were lovely Tracey thank you for sharing your learning with us ❤
You're welcome. Glad you liked this one
The two of them are fabulous. Love Kermit as well. He looks very zen! Maybe that was the outro music!!
Lol yes maybe :)
Thanks for showing your process! This was very interesting!
Glad you liked this one. I'm always learning :)
Oooo ❤ these Tracey. Both turned out gorgeous. Good idea using the crystal mold to make smaller pieces. Very effective.
Thanks so much 😊

That looked like a bunch of fun! Stunning results. I absolutely love the green one. Definitely not an epic fail. Black & white is gorgeous too (and looks a bit like Australia). Great idea making your own crystals. Thanks Tracey ❤
Thanks Barbara. I've got a oad of tips from viewers too so I will have another go soon

Very interesting
Thanks, glad you found it interesting
I love these ❤❤❤ I want I want I want 😍😍😍
The blanks are now in their store Jelly :)
Beautiful work Tracey, love them both. So pleased you loved the geode blanks and can find a use for the middle pieces, we thought why waste them, may as well include them for any crafty ideas. We think the board looks like Australia too! It was intended just a happy accident 😊 xx
they are great! Clock next then I'll get back to the smaller geodes ;)
@@miniscenesgb Looking forward to those 🤗
Okay that was cute.... I'm referring to the part where you said just talk amongst yourselves. Love the green minty one. That's my favorite. Just my 1 cent.
Lol I nearly edited that out. I'm glad it maybe gave you a little giggle and that you like the green one
Love watching your videos Tracey they have learnt me alot,so a big thanks and well deserved 10k ❤
Thanks so much 😊
Yes, it is aventurine. Love the stripey jug, by the way
Thanks, I thought it might be. Ah my fave jug :)
Congrats on the 10,000 subs! BTW, the first was not a fail, it's beautiful, bit hot what you envisioned, yet you fixed it fine. The second is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. ❤
Thank you very much!
Really like the first one made my son watch it with me he actually liked it too, but he liked the black one. Can't wait to see what is next oh and when you will have another video on.😊😊
GLad you both liked it Lynn. I put out at least 2 videos a week :)
My cryatals are growing as I type, thank you

These geode blanks are pretty shaped,Ms Tracey 💜💜.Love the way you illustrated geode works so nicely 😍💜.The colors in both are too beautiful and sooooo elegy💜💜💜💜
Thanks so much Sudha. I must have another go soon - as you can see t his was very much a learning experience
😊
Hi Tracey great video love the green one 😍, it's amazing your nearly at 10k already 🎉thanks for sharing as always ❤❤❤ xxx
Thanks Michelle :)
Pausing after you painted both sides of the first one. I got a 10 pack of paint pyramids on temu - can't remember how much but not a lot of money - 2 quid maybe? They're for painting cabinet doors so you can paint one side, flip it over and paint the other. They're currently propping up 3 shelves that have the top coat drying on them in the kitchen. Handy wee things (and they are wee). You should check them out and then you can paint both sides all you want.
I have silicone ones I made myself, just totally didn't think to use them
Oh my lands! Those both are absolutely beautiful!!!
Thanks Michelle :)
If it wasn't 10 pm. I would have checked to see if something big was backing down my street. 😂😂😂 I love the black and white and silver crystal. I am partial to blues and greens so I really do like the first one.❤❤❤. I really enjoy watching your channel ❤❤❤
lol thanks Stitch
Awww.i loved watching you make and use those beautiful colours in the first one and so carefully placed them.. I was a bit disappointed when they blended but still beautiful ❤
I like the hole in the middle 😊
Second one worked betterish but I liked the colours on the first.. great job and thankyou for sharing
Blessings from Australia 🦘 🦘 🦘 hop to it!
Thanks so much 😊
Congratulations on your10K 👌🎉✨🎊👍
Thank you!!
I love your mess 🥰
Thanks, it was rather a pretty mess I think lol
Fantastic results Tracy, I love the colours.
Might I be so bold as to suggest 1: make a border around the crystals in the center with clear UV resin to prevent seepage, 2: when you pour your colours, keep a pencil width empty between them - the resin levels out and will then fill the voids without so much mixing of the colours. If you find that the resin is too thick and not moving enough to fill the gaps, just use a little heat on them and you can add a top coat when it's cured to give it more substance.
Great tips thanks Patricia :)
@@miniscenesgb😂😂 These are things I've learned from my mistakes. 😂😂
@@patriciaharkin1571 best way to learn :)
I watch all your videos. absolutely wonderful geode arts you have made. I'm bad at commenting. but just wanted to say that these were absolutely gorgeous🤩🤩🤩
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks
Thanks so much Lisa :)
@@miniscenesgb thank you for all the great content 😁
Tracey, they look great. I love the green 1 more than the monochrome. Although both are very pretty. I'm not brave enough to give this technique a try yet lol. You did a great job on your 1st attempts. xx
Thanks Diane
I think it would look cool if you had mini rings in the extended lobe areas, almost like it was developing multiple hearts of mini crystals.
Great idea thanks
Super cool Tracey
Glad you like them Lisa, I'm learning :)
@@miniscenesgb So many possibilities. We just picked up a 3d printer. Unbeknownst to me, you can do these flat pieces, like the geodes. We did one to look like my profile pic. My brain is on overdrive now.
@@MrsLisaCrow yes! I bet you can with a 3d printer. I'm gonna play with resin projects with my laser printer too
There's no failures, just learning experiences. I love the colors that you used Tracey. 💗😍
So true! Glad you like them Ada
The first one was like an underwater scene, lovely!
So glad you liked it :)
These turned out lovely, love these green shades together, they're stunning 🤩
Thanks so much 😊
❤❤❤
💜
Amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing this with us 😊 geodes are something I’ve always wanted to try but don’t have the confidence xx
Definitely worth a try. As you can see mine didn't come out great but it was extremely good fun to do
@@miniscenesgb I think I should get some of those base boards you’ve used from Apex xx
they are awesome. Just4YouOnline sell the, there's a discount code for them in the description under this video so help yourself to that. It's for 15% off
@@miniscenesgb awesome thank you! Pay day can’t come soon enough 🙈
Firstly... CONGRATULATIONS 🎉👏🎉👏 on approaching the 10,000 subs level!! How exciting! And also, these pieces are gorgeous 😍...just a thought...i often also watch the vids by resin crystal artists...they all add stuff on top after the initial base layers etc...if you're not 100percent happy with what you have already created, maybe add more, draw more, glue more etc ...but they are very pretty as is! Thanks for sharing 😊
Yes, could carry on and layer them up - the possibilities are endless. Glad you like my learning curve ;)
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad you liked this one John :)
I think the stones you're discussing at 7:40 might actually be variscite rather than adventurine. That would also explain why there's no sparkle.
I found the reciept from when I bought them it is aventurine, just little sparkle as they are tumbled :)
🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜
Gad you like them :)
To get your shimmer pure white could you mix 2 together
The white shimmer paste is already pure white :)
Tracy, would you sell your first geode? I'm in LOVE with the colours? Xoxoxox
Last thing Tracy congrats on 10,000!❤ and also what blue glitter did you use in the 1st geode? It looked turquoise/gold? I couldn't find it on JFUO and I didn't know what colour I was looking for. Thanks ❤❤❤❤❤❤
it was from Just4YouOnline and it's called chameleon pigment blue/green I can't find it either, it may have been discontinued as I've had this pot for over a year I'm afraid
. Yes I would sell it for a donation to the charities I support, but the back is a real mess I'm afraid. If you're interested drop me an email at MiniScenesGB@gmail.com
Beautiful work , but glad I'm not doing the cleaning up
lol .know what I did? I rolled the mat up and tipped the sparkle into a pot - then peeled the resin off the mat - gave it a wipe and done. I was surprised how easily it cleaned up as this h ad to be the most messy project I've ever done
Didn't hear any men! 😂🥰
Yay my video lost the background noise. That's good to know :)
Sorry if this is a repeat question (for like a hundred times 😊) do have to use a UV light? Can regular glue be used? I understand that drying time would be longer.
These are just lovely!
Yes you can! As long as it's clear glue. I use superglue gel, gorilla glue and all sorts
@@miniscenesgb 💜 You must be always online. You wouldn’t believe the little pleasure I get every time I comment and you answer right away. I’ve watched so many crafters, many miscellaneous videos, read many comments (you can really find a lot of information) and see so many questions and there’s never an answer.
I do m y best. I am online all evening, and generally try to check comments several times a day. if t here's questions there I do try to reply quickly :)
Maybe it's just me, but I had trouble understanding you. Possibly speak just a little bit slower? I had to have my volume as high as possible. Since I am totally not a green person, this didn't work for me. Also, the "tumble stones" you used first and called them crystals... Having done lapidary work, there is a large difference between the two. Although crystals can be tumbled, what you were working with weren't technically crystals. But then, I do nitpick my work too much. 😊
Over 500 watch hours in the first 23 hours on this video representing over 2,100 views. No one else has had trouble hearing me so I won't be changing it. The crystals are tumbled aventurine crystals - I found the receipt from The Lodestone crystal shop in Boughton On The Water. A crystal is a crystal, shape is irrelevant. Aventurine is a form of quartzite
Wow I’ve never thought much about geodes but both of these make me think I’ll give them a go (amongst all the other ideas I keep saying I’ll get too) not enough hrs in my evenings 😂
I really liked the Kermit at the end too 💚🩶💚
Same here, I'm rather hooked now :)
Think I should do a Kermit special soon? A lot of people comment on the little frog :)
