    This was one of my last flights in the Lear 60. Moving on to better things this year. Flying the Lear 60 was a privilege and I would do it again if I had the chance. Unfortunately our Learjet was sold to a new owner and that owner has the plane on a different certificate than our company. Shortly after this flight we flew it to it's new home in Northern California. What's next for me? You will just have to find out. New videos coming soon.
    Cameras used:
    Go Pro Hero 4 Black
    Canon G7X
    DJI Spark
    Pass this along if you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

    I miss the Learjet 60!! And the coolest part of it all, is the power! I now have a plane with a table and a joystick.

      For Flight's Sake man, you’re brilliant, your edits are wonderful. You’re making me regret never taking any videos in the 60! Keep them rolling, and many safe landings.

      Well I fly the challenger 300 now but I might be doing contract work in the 60. If I do I'll definitely record again. Thanks for the compliment on my edits. Much appreciated.

    Hi I am a new learjet pilot for a charter. This is my first month any tips to make a good impression for when I final get to fly with my main partner. Our charter assignes us a partner to fly with through out our career and I will be starting November with my partner flying the learjet 75. And right now i have been jumpseating with different pilots so any tips when I start flying with the same cpt?

    • @BrianMonette
      @BrianMonette  3 года назад +1

      Making a good impression with another pilot especially a captain, goes way outside of just flying. There is a ton of tasks that you can help the captain with before he even shows up to the airplane. The right kind of people will definitely appreciate you for that. Just find ways that you can help besides flipping switches and pressing buttons and talking to ATC.

    Brian, do you prefer the Challenger or Lear 60 as a pilot?

    • @BrianMonette
      @BrianMonette  Год назад

      I definitely prefer the challenger300. I love the takeoff and climb performance of the Leer 60 but the Challenger 300 provides more range, more comfort, better navigation and avionics and overall it’s just a better plane. I don’t fly the Challenger anymore though. I fly the gulf stream 550 now.

    I just discovered your videos. I'm enjoying them! I just got hired as an FO on a Lear out of KMOD and start training soon. It might actually be this exact one.

    Brian, how difficult is this plane to fly compared to the phenom? I know one is light and the other is midsize, but are they comparable?

    • @BrianMonette
      @BrianMonette  4 года назад +1

      The Phenom was definitely easier to fly since it's way more advanced in technology. The lear 60 is my favorite of the two because of the performance and size. I can't compare the two. They're night and day.

      Michael Laverty well I fly the Challenger 300 now. That’s moving on to something better. I’d like to fly a Falcon Jet someday. Preferably the 7X.

    How noisy is this plane whilst in the cabin area?

    • @BrianMonette
      @BrianMonette  2 года назад

      Not too bad. The cockpit is much louder because of the cabin air system.

      @@BrianMonette ah got it, how is that compared to the gulfstream IV +? Additionally, any recommended flight schools for holders of visa's that are able to flight train in the USA? asking for self.

    • @BrianMonette
      @BrianMonette  2 года назад

      No idea on the visa situation bud, sorry.
      The GIV is much quieter. However, I think that’s because the cockpit is further from the engines.
