That’s a beautiful airplane! Love the sounds of those engines. Can that Baron carry six pax with fuel and how much payload? What kind of range can you see at different payload capacity?
I believe that in 1975 they greatly simplified the fuel system, no real fuel management except you have to make sure you have some. Big plus. Fuelers are often looking for the extra fuel caps but there is only 1 per wing. You can load 6 passengers but not with full fuel (136 usable). Better make sure 5th and 6th seats have little tiny kids or a lot less fuel than topped off. Useful load is north of 1500 lbs but with full fuel youre left with about 700 lbs. 3 fat guys and full fuel and you’re at max weight. Then you have to make sure you’re in the weight and balance envelope. Easy with ForeFlight set up right. It can get dicey at max weight. I flew my 78 Baron from ABQ to ca central coast at 2150 or 2200 and pumped 93 gallons on arrival so I had 43 gallons left. Yes, it took an extra 30 or 40 minutes but I didn’t have to land for gas enroute. I think the trip was 4.5 hours, 725 nm ish. When I did the math I used about 21 gph. Great airplane, very stable and easy to fly. As with all light twins, stay away from Vmc. Lots of dead guys out there after messing with that for the sake of training. Rotate at 84 kts, positive rate gear up, and accelerate to blueline 99 kts. Only takes a few seconds.

Rich you’re a jerk head….you fly everything and I’m jealous! Love ya man!
16:20 yeah buddy get the air compressor.
Where's the listing? I don't see it on your web site.
Way behind. It’s not up yet. E-mail me and I’ll send you specs & more pics.
how do you rate the baron v c310
I like the Baron better, smaller cockpit but overall I’d take the Baron.
What make and screen size is your ipad?
Mini iPad. Thanks for watching!
@@FlyingwithRich Thanks
how much is this beuty?
It's going to be listed for around $150k.
Nice video...if given the option, I'd go with the Seneca V over a Baron. Wider cabin, three screens, and counter-rotating props. :)
Comparing a Baron to a Seneca is like comparing a Bentley to a Kia
And you got a free power wash.
The best kind! Thanks for watching.
S t u n n I n g !🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching!
What’s the asking price Rich? Nice B55. That’s the model I want.
Listing will be online soon. I will keep you posted! Thanks!
No, you won’t get 200 knots TAS out of it....but you’ll have a smile on your face trying.
Sounds like a good video - “200KTS in a stock 55 Baron!”
You do get 190.
Always liked how Barons handled, but I HATED the throttle quadrant/yoke design. Not at all ergonomic.
Been on some jets. Never a barron
Thanks for watching!

Nice video, Rich. I see a lot of cringe-worthy aviation content, yours is exactly the opposite. Nice heads-up aviating, buddy!
