Then for Doo Doom Chit they had a pregnant member, Soyul, performing to represent that women can still perform on the stage no matter their physical or relationship status. Legends. :D

With Crayon Pop it has always been about the fans and the fun music more then anything. To many corporate controlled groups out there where image, money, power and influence control the so called "music" industry. Crayon Pop is a success story in itself from what they came from. Even though they will never reach top tier like SNSD, 2ne1, Apink, sistar etc....they arealways happy to be doing what they love and have a genuine love and affection for all their fans....most down to Earth, realistic and grateful Girl Group that will ever come out of KPOP...bar none. Thats why I love these girls and will always be there to support them. Crayon Pop fighting.
EZEKIEL I got into KPOP in 2008 when I discovered SNSD. Since then I discovered so much talent besides the manufactured big company groups. But when Crayon Pop came along they blew me away. They were different, humble, adorable and had a genuine gratefulness for everything they achieved. They were also completely different then the generic KPOP that was out there and almost rebellious to the industry in they had input on image and sound and not ordered and programmed like the slave groups to the big companies. Every groups fans always gush about how their group has the best fanservice but I can say with sincerity, no one even comes close to matching Crayon Pops affection and respect and admiration for their loyal fan base. T-ara use to have great fanservice but even that pales in comparison to CP's. When they finally disband as a group(I suspect by the end of 2017), there will be a huge hole in my KPOP heart that just cannot be filled. My second bias group right now is Laboum, even though they are more main stream and generic then CP, they have that same "lets have fun" attitude that makes them stick out to me. They are also under rated because they are from a smaller company, but their sound and visuals are top notch. That being said they could never, ever replace CP in my heart.No one ever will^_^

NICE TRY but its not true -- Scenes were changes in 4 different places. All having to do with close up facial shots and only one scene of flying skits was dropped. The second edit is slightly better. Some fans took the bait. but still - Not Nice..
Honestly Crayon Pop was a group that deserved a lot, lot better. They struggled a lot since their debut not being able to promote on music shows because they came from a small company but that didn’t stop them from taking the opportunity to promote so they went to perform their songs inside subway trains (literally while it’s moving) and also on the streets while it was freezing cold. And I swear, their early music such as “Saturday Night”, “Bing Bing” and “Dancing Queen” were all catchy songs! I can’t believe how they didn’t breakout with them but anyway.. Then, I was so happy for them when they finally became known everywhere with “Bar Bar Bar” and they even won 1st on a music show!! Let me add one thing, the choreography for “Bar Bar Bar” was deadly tiring. So respect for them honestly to literally jump up and down for like nearly everyday of the week on music shows and music festivals. I believe that was one of the most exhausting dance routines in K-pop ever. They continued to release awesome music even after Bar Bar Bar, but people took them as a “joke group” and with every release, the hype went down and down. Their last release, which was a full-length album this time, was really good. Even the B-side tracks were catchy and could easily pass as title songs. It was one of the best K-pop albums I’ve listened to. Yet, it was their worst selling release, which probably made the company decide to disband them since they weren’t doing well. It just saddens me the way that they were treated as a one-hit wonder (a.k.a Bar Bar Bar). And if you compare with how EXID got popular after Up&Down, they still did well and won on music shows even with the following releases. I feel like Crayon Pop should have been more respected for their difficult past and how they’ve been working so hard and having done the most exhausting choreographies in K-pop.

Claude Bramwell They singing live.ChoA and Geummi sang Soyul's part but we still can hear Soyul's voice because they using playback behind their live singing.I'm so happy with Chrome Ent's plan B....4 Crayon Pop members perfomed with the back up dancers.So far so good and Soyul can rest well.She can join the other members if she feels 100% ready , happy and healthy.She's still important to Crayon Pop because she's the lead singer and one of the main singers.

KARA "Step" is a good example of that. I actually have more conversations with Kamilias on SNSD threads than I've ever had on the "Step" thread.

A lot depends on the culture and disposition of the fandom when it first forms. APINK has several songs that should be well above 100M by now. They're actually going more and more towards the Japanese audience cuz they're more loved there. That happened to KARA also.

The fandoms that can REALLY rally followers and reach a goal are those that are expressive and talkative, like SONES or ONCE. They do a good job of drawing new members, also. TWICE debuted about a year ago and they have two vids over 100M and a third, just released about 6 was ago, is already 80M+! By January, they will have had THREE vids go over 100M in about 15 months!

They, along with just a few other groups (like T-ARA), always release really good music and the most creative MVs. I hope this comeback is successful and they will continue to entertain us in their unique way in the future.
Everyone has different taste. I love this video. It is one of my favorites. The way they boldly change frame size throughout the video is pure genius and it has a lot of activity that could have been chaotic, but the editing flawlessly created a story line that's easy to follow. As for the content, the song, the dance and the girls look and sound great. For me, I think the DooDoomChit MV is "Way" genius.
I agree with you Robert, I love this song&MV, and the girls look amazing. Let's all hope this will get them back in the limelight. The only fault I see after watching their showcase stage is that those heels they are wearing slip, they could not perform the choreograph correctly. You could see the girls were slightly tentative when turning or switching positions, this detracted from the performance... I hope their company addresses the issue before they go on the music shows... which famously have slippery stages.

NICE TRY but its not true -- Scenes were changes in 4 different places. All having to do with close up facial shots and only one scene of flying skits was dropped. The second edit is slightly better. Some fans took the bait. but still - Not Nice..
Honestly Crayon Pop was a group that deserved a lot, lot better. They struggled a lot since their debut not being able to promote on music shows because they came from a small company but that didn’t stop them from taking the opportunity to promote so they went to perform their songs inside subway trains (literally while it’s moving) and also on the streets while it was freezing cold. And I swear, their early music such as “Saturday Night”, “Bing Bing” and “Dancing Queen” were all catchy songs! I can’t believe how they didn’t breakout with them but anyway.. Then, I was so happy for them when they finally became known everywhere with “Bar Bar Bar” and they even won 1st on a music show!!
Let me add one thing, the choreography for “Bar Bar Bar” was deadly tiring. So respect for them honestly to literally jump up and down for like nearly everyday of the week on music shows and music festivals. I believe that was one of the most exhausting dance routines in K-pop ever. They continued to release awesome music even after Bar Bar Bar, but people took them as a “joke group” and with every release, the hype went down and down.
Their last release, which was a full-length album this time, was really good. Even the B-side tracks were catchy and could easily pass as title songs. It was one of the best K-pop albums I’ve listened to. Yet, it was their worst selling release, which probably made the company decide to disband them since they weren’t doing well.
It just saddens me the way that they were treated as a one-hit wonder (a.k.a Bar Bar Bar). And if you compare with how EXID got popular after Up&Down, they still did well and won on music shows even with the following releases. I feel like Crayon Pop should have been more respected for their difficult past and how they’ve been working so hard and having done the most exhausting choreographies in K-pop.

Crayon Pop fans are so nice! As a fan of bigger groups (I'm talking groups that battle themselves for the number 1 spot on music charts) the fandoms for them are always so toxic. There are always people who hate on them or the crazy obsessed fans who start flame wars with other fandoms. But this is the first time I've seen the fandom of a smaller group and it's so refreshing. To be honest, im a female kpop fan but im not that hard and i used to check every girl group new comeback even though if i'm not that into the fandom. Claude Bramwell They singing live.ChoA and Geummi sang Soyul's part but we still can hear Soyul's voice because they using playback behind their live singing.I'm so happy with Chrome Ent's plan B....4 Crayon Pop members perfomed with the back up dancers.So far so good and Soyul can rest well.She can join the other members if she feels 100% ready , happy and healthy.She's still important to Crayon Pop because she's the lead singer and one of the main singers.

Paul Nikel : it was less than half a million when we started, so I'm sure it will get there. I notice on several vids I support that enthusiasm runs hot for a spell and then takes a big drop. KARA "Step" is a good example of that. I actually have more conversations with Kamilias on SNSD threads than I've ever had on the "Step" thread.
Paul Nikel : now that I've been actively engaged in it for several months, I can see why some groups fade out when they shouldn't. A lot depends on the culture and disposition of the fandom when it first forms. APINK has several songs that should be well above 100M by now. They're actually going more and more towards the Japanese audience cuz they're more loved there. That happened to KARA also.
Paul Nikel : you're welcome. Re: APINK, the fandom itself is somewhat introverted and the tend to snub those who aren't already card-carrying members. The fandoms that can REALLY rally followers and reach a goal are those that are expressive and talkative, like SONES or ONCE. They do a good job of drawing new members, also. TWICE debuted about a year ago and they have two vids over 100M and a third, just released about 6 was ago, is already 80M+! By January, they will have had THREE vids go over 100M in about 15 months!

Agree. But they are probably the most successful K-Pop girl group from a tiny company. They, along with just a few other groups (like T-ARA), always release really good music and the most creative MVs. I hope this comeback is successful and they will continue to entertain us in their unique way in the future.
Everyone has different taste. I love this video. It is one of my favorites. The way they boldly change frame size throughout the video is pure genius and it has a lot of activity that could have been chaotic, but the editing flawlessly created a story line that's easy to follow. As for the content, the song, the dance and the girls look and sound great. For me, I think the DooDoomChit MV is "Way" genius.
I agree with you Robert, I love this song&MV, and the girls look amazing. Let's all hope this will get them back in the limelight. The only fault I see after watching their showcase stage is that those heels they are wearing slip, they could not perform the choreograph correctly. You could see the girls were slightly tentative when turning or switching positions, this detracted from the performance... I hope their company addresses the issue before they go on the music shows... which famously have slippery stages.
