Thanks for making people aware. We’ve been with Verizon for over 20+ years for both cell service and cellular internet. We live in an area where there aren’t many options, especially not for internet. We used to love this company and would brag to anyone that would listen how great they were and they should switch to Verizon…… Well, not anymore. Can’t in good conscience recommend them at all. The last 8 years or so the service has become unbearable, both customer service and phone/internet. Thankfully last year we were able to get Starlink satellite for our internet so no longer dependent on Verizon for that.
Thank you for responding, what happened is that they changed my plan, because one of my phones did not have good internet access, but they did not tell me that by changing the plan I would lose my promotions, and now I am left without the promotions for 2 phones and they say that It can't be fixed anymore, something to explain that it wasn't my fault, just waiting to finish it so I can leave that company.
In my case it is 6:13 a.m., I wanted to switch my SIM card from one phone to another phone that were all paid off for verizon. I'm a telemedicine doctor it is a Friday nobody will be able to get ahold of me. People can have seizures and die and my business will go under with a few really Furious patients. I verified my device in my SIM card with the agent on the actual device in question. It was in their logs she verified my number and my SIM card on my device. I was stupid to not use the chat function and use my reliable AT&T phone that my mom pays for to do the Verizon chat. I could have just taken the SIM card out and swapped it from 1V 60 to another and it would have worked just fine. But no I had to be Susie Q and call to give them the IMEI of the device
As usual the chat went on for several hours and it got dark. I'm in Milwaukee. I'm paying for the service and the current phone still worked I said I have to go and then that dumb hooker turned my SIM card off I've been on the stupid chat until 6:00 a.m. trying to fix this. It is in their logs that I verified my SIM card in my device. And thanks to them I can't to factor authenticate my prescribing software that is if patients could get a hold of me. But they can't because now that dumb lady just turn off my number that I pay for in a working phone. The dual screen was glitching out because of firmware updates. I love this phone so much I bought four copies of it. This is ridiculous cherry on the top I got that stupid SIM card jammed into phone number 3 in the tray and now I can't get it out of the damn phone
Oh and the cherry on top a couple of people that have been reaching out to me from a remote Forest area, the Verizon spam thing mark them as spam. When I saw a couple of repeat calls from the same number I got a hold of the person calling. It was somebody needing help with depression that stupid spam filter is a bunch of trash
