My wife and I have separate bathrooms and we love it! I don’t have to worry about showering with her hair that’s clogging up the drain or dealing with her stuff all over the counter and she doesn’t have to deal with my stuff in my bathroom! This has been very helpful for the marriage!
@@janwillard6708 we each clean our own bathrooms. Although I clean out the hair from her shower since she is grossed out by her wet hair on the floor of the shower.
My husband and I moved into a 3 bedroom 3 bath townhome. With plans of babies filling those rooms. Eventually... lol but as of right now he has the master bathroom and walk in closet while I get an extra room with a walk in closet and my own bathroom. It's absolutely incredible. 17 years together and our first time having more then 1 bathroom. I can fill it with all my items and leave it a little messy sometimes. Also we clean our own bathrooms and I looovvvveeee that too. It's made us get along better cause I can shut the door for an hour and get ready for work while he gets ready at the same time. Having separate bathrooms have saved many marriages!! I’m all for it! My parents beach house had 3 master retreats with two baths each and some were so big that had a “retreat” living area that had a bar, microwave oven, bar fridge and a powder room additional to the two full bathrooms! It was the best selling point when they sold it, you need a few more hands to clean all the toilets but it makes life a bit more enjoyable.
Depends on the couple. My husband and I have different ideas of “clean”. And he likes to take baths which if it was only one bathroom, would be difficult when I need to shower. So if I had the money, I wouldn’t mind separate bathrooms. Because he can always join me in mine, but not have the daily hassle of all my hair products cluttering the counter
I’ve always seen it the other way around where the guy prefers showers and she prefers baths. Reminds me of an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where the wife cleans the toilet and Larry falls in because she left the seat up
I remodel homes and the best layout I've seen is on bathroom on the left, sink toilet and walk in closet ..right side another just mirrored .. In the back in between both bathrooms a room with a tub and separate big shower .. 😂😂

@kristytillman6845 "overkill" you're not getting it - think of having a lot of money and then multiply by at least 10. When you just have too much money you may choose to get things that would be absurd to 99% of people, but you can afford it easily and have this extra luxury.
@@whattheschmidtRight but if having the “so called luxury” doesn’t bring any value or purpose to a person or the couple, it just doesn’t matter. I’d rather having a personal theater or extra office space or even extra bedroom. Then an extra bathroom. Like how much time you need in there.

Instead of flaunting your wealth on the internet. Perhaps you could donate some of it to charity. heres the challenge though, youre not allowed to make a vid about it or post to any social media telling what you did. Dont even call your bff. Simply give and then fill your heart with that warmth of helping others. Focus on that warmth and compare it to the dopamine rush you're accustomed to from social media. I bet one feels more peaceful and in tune with the universe.
I like the idea of sharing spaces and learning how to be considerate of each other in said space. Only exception is couples that are light sleepers for bedrooms, or a hobby room depending on the hobbies and how much they clash.
I used to lay floors in Park City UT and saw things like this all the time. The difference is that they would have a toilet and vanity on either side but one big shower connecting both sides in the middle. Also the toilets were usually out of view of the shower so your wife could shower while you were dropping a duece without making it uncomfortable for either person. Its nice to be able to take your time and have privacy on the toilet but then i still like to shower with my wife on occasion.
Being married tells you what you do and don't want to share. A failure of a marriage is one based on what the world thinks you should do instead of what works for the two
It's lovely! I can place all my beauty, hair and nail care products in tidy baskets and whatnot. No one is rushing the other to get out of the bathroom, and when you want privacy when menstruating and/ or ill, it's perfect. Also, with mobility issues, I can have mine adapted without bothering the rest of the family with my equipment. I'm in the UK though... so a bathroom this size is for royalty and billionaires. 😂😂😂
