That was an amazing video , we did the first pair of ladders by chance . Spent 8 hours hiking through the quarry and still talk about it almost 7 years later . Now we are over 60 so none of that adrenaline shit anymore ,look after grandkids now . The scale of the place is unreal . Thumbs up from Canada . Go to the museum as well .

Dali's Hole is called Sinc Harriet. Australia is where the highest red line is. Sinc California is to the left of the arrow "actual route section unfinished".
@@lewishikes we never got to the second rappel which is 30m +.......going back in 3 weeks to complete though!! you have to form a retrievable setup though!!
Hi mate There are a few sketchy maps if you google it "snakes and ladders Dinorwic quarry". Also I believe it is detailed in the Welsh slate climbing book. Even with a map though it is tricky to route find in places, all part of the fun though!

Never to old for a bit of adrenaline shit! Hopefully going again this summer so will definitely check out the museum.

What length rope did you bring please 😊
Hi mate, we took two 50m ropes. you may get away with one 60m rope but I would always rather have to much than come up short!
@@torsandmore so basically u could do a 50m absail I’ve read most
Ppl just take 1 60m rope for the absail
