I can't believe that they killed her never to return, I use to love watching Xena. Why did they kill her? They could have just let her ride off into the sunset on some sort of a quest or something like that....
It ended perfectly. In the "Destiny" episode Xena said she had a new purpose in life, "death". She came full circle with her past and redemption and got what she ultimately wanted and what ultimately comes with living a warrior life.
I picture that it ended when Xena and Gabrielle read Sappho’s poem and they had that helmet and they flew off into the sunset and live out the rest of their lives with each other

No bother at all :) The first one is from the episode The Way and its Krishna talking to Xena and he says “When you ride into combat, carry within you the confidence that you are fulfilling your calling in this life; rise up like fire and burn all that oppose you.” And the second one is Xena from the episode Ides of March and she says “I have to be the best warrior I can be, to redeem myself I have to fight evil with a sword, and that’s what I’m gonna do, no matter what the consequences.”
