    Steve Harvey did a special on a product called “thin edges”. My friend is growing back her edges. The product was tested on black peoples hair only. Look up thin edges. I heard it’s all natural and really works. Or you can massage an oil in your spots morning and night.

    Its amazing that you have that many spots but you still look like you have a full head of hair. I would of never known you had that many spots. Wow. Amazing.

      I agree, my hair looks so thin I can’t camouflage it like she can. If I had her length I think I would be able to hide it more.

    Congratulations🙏🏾. Your edges don't look bad at all. Do you think traction from wearing wig might contribute to traction alopecia?

    • @BeautiFroHair
      @BeautiFroHair  7 лет назад +2

      Thanks! Yes, I think I'm experiencing some traction alopecia because I haven't given my hair a break from wigs in a while.

    Have you tried chebe powder/ oil ? Its a herbal mix made in eastern Africa (can't remember the country name) but all the women that use it have hair down to their butts & longer ! Its becoming more accessible in the US & every RUclipsr I've seen use have had dramatic results in just a couple uses. I'd love to see you do a review on it, I think It'll help your alopecia

    Your hair looks good. I also have very fine, delicate hair and have experienced alopecia. One suggestion, a little less tension on your hairline in the frontal area. Good luck to you.

    Have you been to any scalp doctors ?

    • @BeautiFroHair
      @BeautiFroHair  7 лет назад

      I went some years ago. Had a scalp sample taken and even did steroid shots when I experienced hair loss from a tight sew-in.

    • @lilambe
      @lilambe 7 лет назад

      BeautiFroHair did they find anything when they took the samples ? What was the diagnosis ?

    • @BeautiFroHair
      @BeautiFroHair  7 лет назад +1

      Yes, that's when I was diagnosed with have androgentic alopecia. That's also when I was told my hair would never grow back on it's own and I should use rogaine if I wanted to fill in my balding areas. I opted not to use Rogaine because it requires continued use. If you stop using it, the hair that grew from using it will fall out. Also, it's not safe for pregnant women to use Rogaine and my husband and I were planning on starting our family so I didn't want to start using it only to have to stop.

    • @lilambe
      @lilambe 7 лет назад

      BeautiFroHair thanks for responding ! I looked it up & it seems like the cause is rooted in a hormonal problem. Maca root is an all natural hormone balancer with lots of other benefits (balancing blood sugar, blood pressure etc). It's made from a species of yam found in central/ south america & it's safe to take while pregnant & on medication. I would love to see you do some videos on your experience while using it, it would be very helpful for other women struggling with alopecia, hormonal imbalances etc.

      BeautiFroHair hey hon. Try looking into Aryuvedic methods. Fenugreek seeds or powder, Bhringaraj, Brahmi, and Amla powders are good with helping thinning and baldness.
      Bhringaraj is the King of Indian herbs.
      God Bless!!
