Your dad is a awesome man and highly skilled. I very much enjoyed the afternoon I spent with him. He enlightened me on many things during my visit and see where you get your intelligence from. I can't wait to meet you too. Go fast, go straight and be safe!
Loved my alky injected SBC ....once I learned injection lol . I had an 81 Malibu, stock front clip and I had the pump mount on the frame rail. Had easy access to my crank trigger and radiator hose fitting. I ran N/A though so I didn't have the blower pulley. Sure do miss that stuff. That crisp crack in the sound, throttle response that is unbelievable and having your helmet pinned against the head rest with a grin from ear to ear. It's been a few years but I talked to the folks at Enderle when I first got into it . Never ran Alky, never ran injection. Why not jump in head first and put both on the damn car lol. They were a huge help, Good Vibrations out of Ca. Were awesome and very patient lol and the local speed shop guy (Street&Strip Performace Lou. KY.) Had ran TA/FC and he'd put up with me asking endless questions lol. All I can say is , (OOO) ENDERLE ROCKS!!
Andy Francis thanks so much for your comments and feedback! This is likely one of the last builds I will have with my dad, Sam. So, we figured let's go all in with a build that will get the heavy 48 Ford Coupe off the line and moving and give me a chance to learn some of the ECU side of the house at the same time. The 8-71 roots blower definitely has the torque to do it. The plan is to switch over to electronic fuel injection with coil on plug so I can do individual cylinder tuning, but this MFI is really fun. I don't see carbs in my future anymore. Go fast, go straight! Be Safe!

Looks like your ratio is off on your crank to pump. How are you gaining enough pump speed hence volume.
Could the SBC be converted to direct injection with a mechanical system? I’m trying to figure out if anyone has done it but no results
Patriot Haven thanks so much for your question! I am brand new to the MFI, so I am not sure about that one. Go fast, go straight! Be Safe!!
