I've been using Filmora in its various versions for about 4 years now. Really like it and agree that esp with Filmora 12 there's very little a beginner/intermediate user can't do with this platform. Really enjoy your videos and have learned some great stuff from you E! Thanks and keep the great content coming.
Filmora bought it years ago for a one-time small fee and it's the gift that keeps giving year in year out free updates. Have just started the content subscription for pre made graphics good value as well. Just like E keeps rolling out the good stuff
There’s already a bunch of videos like that on RUclips so I doubt I’ll do one too to be honest. I wouldn’t be very good at it anyway considering I don’t use Filmora a lot.
Love your content! Quick question regarding using assets from Motion Array. How do I know which templates, effects, presets, etc. work with Filmora, as the assets created are mainly catered for FCP and Premiere? Like dropzones and so on
The templates and presets will always say in the description what platform they are for. But the stock footage and overlays work with any platform. With the overlays, all you need to do in the timeline is change the blending mode to get rid of the black background.
I am looking to do tactical analysis of ultimate frisbee (but practically this is a team sport like soccer). So I want to be able to highlight one or more players, draw arrows, move players to show where they should be etc. Are there any tutorials specifically for this?
@@BeyondTheGame_E ah cool. I was hoping to learn how to do it in Filmora .. and honestly I was dreaming of it being more like a 30s thing (note I don’t need a custom player name highlights)
@@lsmith77 unfortunately, what you’re trying to do requires a software more complex than Filmora and takes much more than 30 seconds. When you see people do it live during a sports broadcast, they’re using custom made software that is crazy expensive.
I'm not really a beginner in premiere pro either I just like how everything is laid out in Filmora. And when you select an effect you know exactly what it is.
Well, some you can and some you can’t. You can preview LUTs in PP for example. I do feel like Filmora is much more user friendly but I wouldn’t use the previews personally. It takes too much space on the screen and you end up wasting time scrolling too much. The names are enough and you need to see it on your footage to really see what it looks like anyway. That’s just my opinion though, I’m sure plenty of people find the previews helpful.
If you add a 1 sec transition between two clips, it will need half a second on each side to make it happen. So if you use full clips, the start and end of each clip will appear to miss half a second. But it’s not actually missing. It’s in the transition itself.
thank you but that’s exactly what’s happening. The full clip is there but I’m missing about half a second on the clip which seems to be in the transition. I’m doing a football/soccer highlight video for my son. I need to have e it done with those features you shared, slow mo, transitions, close ups, etc.
As far as I know there are different types of subscriptions. One allows you to do all the updates up until the next version comes out. And the other includes all future versions as well.
Hey I've just been reading about this and apparently you were right in saying that Filmora was not letting lifetime subscribers update to version 12. But they suffered so much backlash from this questionable decision that they recently changed their minds about it and you can now do the update for free with a lifetime subscription.
All beginners and budget sports videographers, make sure to try Wondershare Filmora 12 today for free bit.ly/3PgEohf 👍🏽
I got on the previous version years ago. It’s great!
I have version 11 already. might be time for an upgrade.
@@brianh3730 Sure is!
Thanks
Which camera & lens u used to shoot this.

Filmora 12 is huge jump from previous versions. Thanks as always for presenting by such a nice way!
Nice one, Hope to see more filmora editing from your channel, learnt heaps from this
You probably will!
Continue with your good work

Nasty editi 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Could you make an in depth video on more features inside the program?

@@BeyondTheGame_E Awesome! Thanks for clearing that up :)
Big fan of your work and filmora.
Quick question. Buying the Perpetual Plan am I able to use it on both my PC and laptop? Both run windows
You can definitely run the same account on both but I think you’ll have to login each time you go from one to the other.
@@BeyondTheGame_E thanks 🙌

Yeah that sounds more manageable.
sir, what is the title of the backsound?
Yarin Primak - My Lord

I'm shocked at how much easier this is to use than premiere pro. Is there no way to preview effects and transitions in PP?

How did you get that color grade
A couple of LUTs from my Ultimate Sports LUT pack.
Bro do you know how to make it more than 100x speed idk why I can't have more speed..
There’s a speed ramping tool just for that.
i am trying to add transitions between my clips but they are cutting my clips, shortening the videos. Kindly advise

yeah that’s normal. Transitions need footage to work. You can’t put them over nothing.
Helped meeeee
How to download football videos for you tube channel, how to get
You need a third party app like the one I mention in this video ruclips.net/video/kfooVMrGvX4/видео.html
I've just found out that they are scammers. Live time subscription means you can't upgrade to version 12.
