Man Hamilton has changed heaps from my childhood town. I remember before the centre place shopping mall got extended they used to be two separate malls. One known as the Downtown Plaza mall and then centre place shopping mall.
Trust me you wouldn't want to move to Hamilton unless you had a good well paying job. It's a really boring and dead cultural void. And it's very insular and not very accepting to people who're different. And it's also got a high rate of crime for its population.
Te Awamutu half an hour south of Hamilton is a great place i have met some people who have come out from Germany who are really enjoying Te Awamutu it is a great town
Nice video! Hamilton is looking quite nice with their well painted buildings and clean streets. I'm from down in Dunedin, and some of your high-rises feel like the ones down here, except we don't have a large square like you guys do. We have the Octagon as our main center city area

Otago university over the last 30 years seems to have degraded from this vibrant hub of education and intellectualism to basically a big social playground for (usually rich) kids straight from those "elite" schools still stuck in the late 19th century. From what I'm hearing: Their students are now surpassing even Massey students for bad behaviour and general feral-ness.
I live in Hamilton and enjoy it. We have lots of green spaces, mostly friendly people and, for many of us, easy commutes. Hamilton is the butt of many jokes but I don't mind if it puts some people off because it's already growing too fast.
The old stomping grounds wizards used to be down thAt st where that wespac is bourbon st I think just everything changed since then I Danny’s music world and tracks music on corner were still there I think back in 89-92 😂🤙🤙
