Great work so far, and great rotation man. Get the Guidi 19 Bison Boots, I got mine last year and honestly they are just perfect I’ve been wearing them as beaters or everyday use. Won’t regret it.
RUclips recs come in goated. Loved the vid. Can you slip on the puddle boots or you still gotta untie them? I’ve been so lazy to tie my shoes (first world problems) All my boots are either slip ons or have zippers HAHA. Which is why I didn’t buy the Strike boots or 795v…
I've been on the fence for the strike boots.. One on hand I love their silhouette, but on the other they're a hassle to put on, and that they're not as waterproof. An alternative I've looked at were the Oree Infantry boots because of the welt construction and vibram outsoles. Do you think that would achieve the same energy/look? I would be getting the strike boots for a little above the pricing on the infantry boots.
i think the orees are a great alternative to the strikes! they do have a similar look and from what i’ve seen are really nice quality! though at the end of the day it really is preference.
Did you size the same on the Bottega puddle bomber boots? I have the puddle boots in 42, so I got the bombers in the same size. The shoe fits, but I'm not able to lace them up. Should I size up?
@bmoonji I did the same. I'm usually a 43. I just tried them on again yesterday. (Never worn) They fit much better above the ankle than I remember. Thanks.
If you have wide feet, you'll like rams. I currently have Chuck 70s and previously had Miharas, and the rams were much more comfortable.* There were less pain-points compared to the other two shoes mentioned. However, I did have pain-points near the top of the tongue due to it being a little sturdy, but that was due to over-tightening the laces and wearing no-show socks. This could be easily mitigated by using low ankle socks or tightening the laces correctly. Other than that, these have been great. FYI, rams from 2020 - recent have removable insoles so you could add your own if needed. Also, due to the removable insoles, the sizing of rams are now TTS. * btw, I'm calling rams comfortable in a "designer shoe" sense lol.
Underpants rotation?
Looking forward to it
