The Flying Notsman is soooo tiny in comparison. I think you’re going to have to add another passenger car or three ! Since the yellow engine is yellow and black, you could name it “The Hornet”
The beatles wagon or you could make a four-story building, all white ,with the Beatles do on their 1969 concert. On the yellow train you can name it the Yellow Submarine
Flying Nottsman(?) needs a sleeper wagon, maybe even a mail one. Would add at least two wagons to her and thus give her a bit more length, especially when you are running the longer trains. As for the yellow locomotive, how about Bee? Honey? Lemon? Ect, ect ect.
Definitely makes your train epic in scale Robin! Your new engine reminds me of a banana lol...maybe it should be named the banana split 🤔 😅. Regardless, thanks for the awesome video, I'll be watching to see that beast of a train grow in length.
Wow 6 motors pulling this train. Truly amazing Robin. I can't wait to see the cargo yard area when you start that. My son has the yellow train set and he loves it. I think you should keep making carriages lol. As for a name for the locomotive could be Dr. Yellow, or The Mighty Bee, buzzing along the railway. Fantastic video my friend! Always love the train builds.
My stepdad grew up in Pennsylvania and told me stories about Horseshoe Curve. The trains were so long that the engineer in the locomotive and the conductor in caboose could wave at each other. Looks like your train can do that now 🙃
Looks awesome! The trains look nice! The colors that you used really stand out. You could name the yellow train the bumblebee or hornet, either one's good. Awesome! :D
ive been busy with work and i finally have some time after a few months and now hes gotten a longer train. when i come back in a few months you Robin will rival the trains at the great western train show, i can feel it
That is fabulous. I think you have inspired me to get moving. I have the blue and yellow engines, but I have run them separately. I think I may combine them and have a nice long train, similar to yours. I did copy your caboose. I won’t have as many cars, but it will double the length of my usual train. Thank for your ideas, your help and most of all your inspiration. 🇨🇦👍
I added extra weight and volts into my locs by 8 heavy rechargable 1.2V AA batteries instead of battery box. It has lots of grip and power. I've uploaded a few vids. Metroliner goes very fast on the long corners.
I am surprised it isn't pulling cars off the rails on the corners. The Union Pacific RR around my town will put one or two of the engines in the middle of a long train or at the end as a pusher.
I had a feeling this day would come. This thing is really going to be chasing each other's tail. There is also a new City Cargo Train out this year so that means I would say at least 3 more carriages you could add, even if you heavily modified them to fit in. Anyway great video Robin and this is looking so good. And for the name, I think the Mighty Hood would be good.
Hey Robin, Here in America sometimes you may see an airplane fuselage being transported by rail. So I was wondering if you would want to do that as a whack you piece of cargo for your train to pull along. Of course it does not have to be before jumbo jet size, but you could do something like a well wagon.
Love the train . What disappointing, is that last train sets had the power up functions. Which uses an app which cannot be used with the regular remote control power functions. I hope the next Lego train set will have the regular remote controls /power functions. Also I hope Lego will do a north American style locomotive. Another good thing about the power functions, you can use it on the old 9 volt track with the transformer. Also have you used the flex track or are all you tracks plastic. I have never used the plastic track. I use my old nine volt track . Love your videos. Have a great day and I look forward to Monday. Always watch your channel.🙂
As a matter of interest, in real life the railways will normally get rolling stock that looks similar, so I think its cool you have a diesel and electric version
The proper term for a diesel-electric locomotive that can also run as a pure electric (either with a third rail or a catenary system as this one is equipped for) Is "electro-diesel". They'd run as a pure electric where possible, then fire up the prime mover and run as a diesel-electric when the electricity supply is no longer available.
Robin, the latest rage in railroading is the DPU, or Distributed Power Unit. Essentially, take one or two of your locomotives and place them in the middle of the train. The theory is that the stresses on the couplings are increased the longer the train, when the power is traditionally placed in front. By splitting the power, those locomotives in the middle are essentially pulling the back half of the train, alleviating the stresses of those cars from the forward half. Since you have control over all the locomotives at once, the whole train moves as one unit, but more efficiently. Love the look of four locomotives. Kudos! (But shouldn't the new yellow one have had "pride of place" in the front, since this was its video?)
@@RobinHoodBricks I was merely pointing out your established precedent with respect to the Hammerhead and the Hulk's first videos. They had pride of place, with the Beast resuming the point position for regular operations.
Hey Robin I hope you are well. It's been a while so we are on a bit of a catch up with your videos. Great to see you finally got the yellow engine for your mammoth (maybe a name for it 😉) cargo train. My wife suggested Waspinator for the yellow engine. I wondered if you could do a long waggon with a film crew on it doing a movie scene. Or like Queen did for their Breakthrough video, a band playing. Loving the videos as always. Trevor & Katie
I think the yellow locomotive should be called Big Bamford In in real life, Joseph Cyril Bamford was the founder of JCB, who make large yellow diggers Maybe in the world of Brick Nottingham, Bamford was a famous locomotive designer!
And the most realistic way to place the locomotives would probably be the Beast or the newcomer plus the Hulk and the Hammerhead at the front, and the other twin-motor Locomotive farther back. The reason I say this is that modern freight trains where I live are typically pulled by 3 locomotives, with 2 at the front and one farther back, with 2/3 of the power at the head (front) end and 1/3 farther back. Since your train has a total of 6 motors, you could copy this formula in your city, with 4 motors at the head end and 2 farther back.
@Robin Hood Bricks I know you said the piece is hard to find. But what is the white sloped roof piece called that you have on the roof ends of your green carriages? I want to build a similar train in blue. Thanks!
i really love the idea because its a good challenge and also maybe a cart for a clean energy source for the city could be nice because 1 windmil isn't enough to suport a city that uses gWh per year if not per month or per week. a uranium cart would be nice to represent the yellow barrels could be another idea even tho its radio active and maybe as suggestion call the yellow one jeuney (just puttining the word jeune (french for yellow) and jenny together)
hmmm i think the slight segway this time similar to the maersk train will be a csx one. wouldnt that be cool? also i have a maersk for myself and i would say that it would look amazing on you cargo train sometime soon! just a suggestion though. also also, the maersk is my dream so im am extraordinarily happy with it. it is phenomenal. and another thing about the maersk, is that in the part one of the Rail Zeppelin you said it was a great set but too expensive and you didnt want it right then but instead of just getting the locomotive for what i believe is 1000-1200 dollars, it would be more worth it to get the whole thing starting at just 1400 from what i've seen.
It needs to be called Bumblebee. Change my mind.
Great to see an even longer cargo train. Fantastic.
Call it “hornet” or “wasp”
The Flying Notsman is soooo tiny in comparison. I think you’re going to have to add another passenger car or three !

The beatles wagon or you could make a four-story building, all white ,with the Beatles do on their 1969 concert. On the yellow train you can name it the Yellow Submarine
Driven by Beatles minifigs 😂
Not sure I've ever seen a more epic Lego train, and it only keeps growing! The new loco is a great addition though!
Flying Nottsman(?) needs a sleeper wagon, maybe even a mail one.
Would add at least two wagons to her and thus give her a bit more length, especially when you are running the longer trains.

Yes
Playing with power! And how lovely to see a couple off trains pass by and a great locomotive indeed!
Definitely makes your train epic in scale Robin! Your new engine reminds me of a banana lol...maybe it should be named the banana split 🤔 😅. Regardless, thanks for the awesome video, I'll be watching to see that beast of a train grow in length.
That was one of my firt LEGO sets and i also put two motors in it a few months ago
More power!

You'll be happy to hear that the cargo yard, or at least phase one of it, is coming up soon. I need a few more packages first though!
Call your yellow train (mellow yellow)
My stepdad grew up in Pennsylvania and told me stories about Horseshoe Curve. The trains were so long that the engineer in the locomotive and the conductor in caboose could wave at each other. Looks like your train can do that now 🙃
Wow this train is only getting longer! Your excitement about the trains is fun to watch
Wow, we don’t often get the view from the door, Brick Nottingham is looking massive! Great work Robin
I would like to see shark tank car for the train. 🦈🤙
Looks fantastic, really like the color palette of those four together!!
The flying Notchman is also an absolute toptrain!
Looks awesome! The trains look nice! The colors that you used really stand out. You could name the yellow train the bumblebee or hornet, either one's good. Awesome! :D

Now I have the power, there's nothing to stop me!
I like the "Banana" train
Great video! I am a big rail fan so watching these go round is Amazing! Def keep on building!
You could name the new train the Big Bird
I think you should add the crocodile locomotive to the train
Great work robin! Add more to the train, its great!
rip robin hood, another casualty of the 'i like trains' kid.
maybe call the new one the 'yellow devil'? old old megaman reference :)
My favorite LEGO train ever
I think call the yellow train the hot chip or just the chip
I'm enjoying it too. Keep it going. More cargo is my vote.

I'm definitely buying that yellow train it looks amazing
It's nice but needs a few tweaks from the original build!
I added extra weight and volts into my locs by
8 heavy rechargable 1.2V AA batteries instead of battery box.
It has lots of grip and power. I've uploaded a few vids. Metroliner goes very fast on the long corners.
Yes! The quadruple header is finally complete! The Beast, The Hammerhead, The Hulk, and The...Hornet? Yellow Jacket? Bee?
You should call the yellow one “Bumble Bee”
You should call the yellow train the Mellow Monster!
Bumblebee. If you get enough train cars the engines wont just be pulling, they'll be pushing!
gratz on another bucketlist check mark!
I am surprised it isn't pulling cars off the rails on the corners. The Union Pacific RR around my town will put one or two of the engines in the middle of a long train or at the end as a pusher.

For some reason, whenever I hear my cousin say “THERE IS A HORNET OUTSIDE!” I think of a bright yellow cargo train.
Yeah, that's my fault!
You could put two of the engines at the back. So two at the front two at the back
Hey Robin, Here in America sometimes you may see an airplane fuselage being transported by rail. So I was wondering if you would want to do that as a whack you piece of cargo for your train to pull along. Of course it does not have to be before jumbo jet size, but you could do something like a well wagon.
At this rate, I think you should extend the cargo line to the second standing hole so you can add more carriages
Excellent Robin!
Yay! Trains!
I quite like how the locomotives are three primary colours and one secondary colour
Love the train . What disappointing, is that last train sets had the power up functions. Which uses an app which cannot be used with the regular remote control power functions. The Yellow Goliath has arrived in Brick Nottingham. excellent!
If the train gets too much for 6 motors, you could have a motorised wagon in the middle of the train 😁🚃
9:45 Beginning the movement process
The yella fella?
The 2022 freight train was not yellow
That one broke the sequence. Very modern looking!
As a matter of interest, in real life the railways will normally get rolling stock that looks similar, so I think its cool you have a diesel and electric version
Yay more trains
You gone train power mad! ; )

You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret: All the best people are.

No-one relegates The Beast. It's his train!
@@RobinHoodBricks I was merely pointing out your established precedent with respect to the Hammerhead and the Hulk's first videos. They had pride of place, with the Beast resuming the point position for regular operations.
Name for the yellow one: Bumblebee, obviously. :-D ... Would be even more amazing if it could change shape into a robot. 😀
Good luck on the beach adventure
Many thanks!
Hope to get the maresk train next and Sean that got dubble v trauck one and maresk ship .shipping container set ..
Snowpiercer just got another one! awesome! I know this won’t be the name but the new yellow one looks like a minion 😄
Maybe you can name the yellow train bumblebee
That's the first thing that came to my mind as well.
Hey Robin I hope you are well. It's been a while so we are on a bit of a catch up with your videos.

Good to catch up with a nice binge every now and then. I was thinking a rooftop like the Beatles or U2!
@@RobinHoodBricks yeah the Beatles, that would be awesome. Bit more distinctive than U2 😁
Yellow train- the minion
It would be cool to have a cargo cart with a few arcade games in
Great job
Where do you buy wagons?
maybe you could add some container wagons to the train. and if you're able to maybe you should get the Maersk train set
Only if you loan me the money, haha!
It definitely needs to be called ‘The Hornet’
Idea: You could make a MOC "B" unit of your design. It could be a dummy or powered piece that goes between the locomotives
Wonderful!
I think the yellow locomotive should be called Big Bamford
In in real life, Joseph Cyril Bamford was the founder of JCB, who make large yellow diggers
Maybe in the world of Brick Nottingham, Bamford was a famous locomotive designer!
I think your gonna have a world record for WORDs LONGEST LEGO TRAIN!
I vote for a longer train. Nothing silly about it, it's the reality of freight trains.
Bumblebee as a name relating to the transformer.
And the most realistic way to place the locomotives would probably be the Beast or the newcomer plus the Hulk and the Hammerhead at the front, and the other twin-motor Locomotive farther back. Epic train 🚂 whoot whoot. Name the wild banana 🍌
7:44 it could be ballast in that cargo car
@Robin Hood Bricks I know you said the piece is hard to find. But what is the white sloped roof piece called that you have on the roof ends of your green carriages? I want to build a similar train in blue. Thanks!
You dont need that switch - just rotate one of the engines, there is a place for the wire under the dark gray light brick
i agree.
There was actually a red cargo train in 2011
As it is mainly yellow with some black and run by electricity with his pantographs, I suggest the name : the Pika-choo !
Make a small car parking for the secret police and a anther car please🙏🙏🙏. Love the trains👍
Pantographs? And a diesel fan? I guess that makes a 'diesel electric' locomotive 🤣🤣
Name suggestion: The Beetle as a reference to The Beetles song " yellow submarine"
Were is the dinamite wagon
that was cruel opening scene... :D
That yellow train name has to be ”Hasta”! I liked and subbed you!👍
Thanks very much!
Others have already suggested "Bumblebee", which is color appropriate. I'd like to suggest "Wolverine".
It has to be something 'Bee' related, the Easy Bee or Worker Bee.
Last train lighting bolt
The train is growing nicely and great new additions to it Robin. Keep it going and growing 👍. A name for the new engine, how about banana split ?.
i really love the idea because its a good challenge and also maybe a cart for a clean energy source for the city could be nice because 1 windmil isn't enough to suport a city that uses gWh per year if not per month or per week. a uranium cart would be nice to represent the yellow barrels could be another idea even tho its radio active
and maybe as suggestion call the yellow one jeuney (just puttining the word jeune (french for yellow) and jenny together)
call the yellow one homer because it looks like homer simpson it even has the to bits of black hair on top just need a donut carriage to go with it
hmmm i think the slight segway this time similar to the maersk train will be a csx one. wouldnt that be cool? also i have a maersk for myself and i would say that it would look amazing on you cargo train sometime soon! just a suggestion though. also also, the maersk is my dream so im am extraordinarily happy with it. it is phenomenal. and another thing about the maersk, is that in the part one of the Rail Zeppelin you said it was a great set but too expensive and you didnt want it right then but instead of just getting the locomotive for what i believe is 1000-1200 dollars, it would be more worth it to get the whole thing starting at just 1400 from what i've seen.
We need a Murder on the Flying Nottsman story! Perhaps toned down for the kiddies? Disaster on the Flying Nottsman?
MO' POWAH BABEH
Heck yeah!
Wow, soon you will run out of track room at this rate!
amazing
I bought the set this locomotive came in when it was new. You forgot about the red cargo train from 2011
Oh yeah, the one with the red battery box. That's very expensive now so it must've slipped my mind!
maybe you should make a carriage carrying a new monorail unit for the cargo train
Call it "The Homer" (as in Simpson) 😜
