I always tape cardboard on the face frames before my granite guys show up. Then I hover over them and become a nit-picky little bitch. It's 100% necessary.

@5:09 That brought back memories of a guy in our Boyscout Troup, literally just got his Totenchip Card to use a knife, axe and hatchet and about 2 hours later, lobbed off his big toe while wearing flip flops and cutting firewood with an axe we had spent all weekend sharpening... Then @5:20, "Always have your proper safety equipment on, never take it off" Priceless!

I do like his common sense. I understand what's going on, I have been on several job sites that you had to shave before using a respirator. It's a safety mandate, like when I was made to be tied off but would have hit the ground before lanyard caught me.

I once was trying to give advice to my boss one time and he got pissed and said “dont try and school me” so from there i learned to keep my comments to myself because personally if i knew what i was doing and I had a guy just bothering me about things especially if they were learning from me, I definitely would get mad. Dont out shine the master. I mean we are looking at this guys videos trying to learn a thing or two. That’s probably why he gave those guys the bird 😂

As a typical viewer, I gotta take a sneak peek at the comments section first to see if there’s any pertinent info I should looking out for because I’m usually doing other things while watching RUclips. Well, the comments section was out of control. HM, I tell you I just finished a high end bathroom remodel and I've gotta say... Maybe it's not worth doing these larger jobs in the slow season. To many dependencies. I followed your lead and made all the cabinets for the remodel. Ah geez. Just too much work and I had a helper with the bathroom.
I think maybe it would've been best to just do more work on the on season and plan on some other work in the Winter. What are you thinking about for next off season? Same thing?

Hey Handyman, is your business being affected by the virus? Are you worried about entering other people’s homes for your safety and theirs? I ask because I too am a handyman and I actually still have some work coming in. It’s not much but I’m surprised I’m getting anything at all. I’m worried for my family if I continue working because every time I leave the house I put them at risk and every time I enter another persons home I put them at risk as well. I’m only an hour from New York and it’s gotten pretty bad over there. I’m sure it’s made it’s way to the place I call home. I don’t want to put other people at risk especially my family. I also don’t want to risk my livelihood by turning down work. You’re a smart man and an inspiration. I’ve watched you work and have learned many things doing so and I know you are living in the same world of chaos as everyone else but I would really like to know your opinion and how you feel about it. I appreciate you sharing. Stay safe Handyman.
