Glad to see Symba getting his shot and publicity that he worked so hard for. He is a true artist in every sense of the word. He embodies what it is to be an artist. He is a part of this class of Titans of lyricist that are beasts. I love this rise and reemergence of "rappers" with bars and conceptual music being relevant and widely accepted as the top artist in the game. Another one added to the list of J Cole, Kendrick, Joyner, Benny, Dave East... This is just the beginning. Sky's the limit for him.

This is huge! I've been waiting for this. If you're not initiated on this man's work, please treat yourself. Amazing interview. It's refreshing to see organic growth in hip hop rather than the exploitative examples we have.
Loved this interview, intelligent, driven, focused and wise beyond his years. Hip-hop has some young great talent that listened to their elders and puts respect on the craft.

It’s crazy that this show has been going for about 13 years but yet, this interview is one of the best I’ve heard/seen on this platform in years. No gimmicks, no controversy, just good energy and great information from an artist willing to be open about the industry and his experiences.

I was a fan when I first heard his LA Leakers freestyle, but I'm a much bigger fan now after hearing his perspectives and thought process. Plus, this album he just dropped with Drama is great. Between him and the new Crook/Joell album (not to mention COTI2) I'm feeling blessed by hiphop these days.

It definitely IS good story art, and that's why some of our best/favourite art derives from pain and suffering. It's something people can relate to, something that makes us feel closer to things we idolize and love. The best art in my opinion usually comes from sadness and pain.
