no ferts no co2 just low livestock thick medium bed and heavy planting my 55 is still going strong havent done a water change in almost 2 years now.
When I buy potted aquarium plants, no matter the seller, there is always a foam pad material wrapping the roots. What is that stuff?
its called rock wool its just a rooting medium very little nutritional value
