Был на том концерте, один из немногих рок/метал певцов, который не потерял голос. Отличное представление было .
If you don’t like it then don’t watch it, yes his Blackness is older now but still sounds better than almost all the new crap that’s out and the idol is a truly epic concept album. For all the haters, if you think it’s so bad then don’t watch it, true wasp fans appreciate this

Blackie can still sing! He sounds great. His voice does not seem to age. Not too many rockers can sing at this age anymore especially live and on key. I wish WASP would come to Canada!
Well unlike most 80s singers, he didn't drink and smoke it away for decades.
He definitely has a distinct sound for singing, can pick him out of a pile in seconds

@@kingofdragontown9680 True,he kept his focus through that time,but he has a quite a high voice,so like most any aging rocker they cant sing the voice registers as high as they did back in the day.

Never was into WASP but the last few days I've been listening and learning about the band and I must say this is some of the best I've ever heard. Myself being a drummer and guitar player for about 30ish years I have much respect for Blacky L and WASP.

61 год, а поёт как на записях, выдавая гору адреналина! С ума сойти! Блэки - машина!
Сколько групп, которые были популярны во второй половине 80-х, уже стали историей, без всякой возможности "воскреснуть", а W.A.S.P. в лице её лидера, жив. Нет, не зря всё же в 1988 году, зайдя в студию звукозаписи я услышал концертный альбом W.A.S.P., ох не зря! Теперь у меня все альбомы W.A.S.P. в оригинале, а тексты со вкладыша альбома "Crimson Idol" я даже перевёл для себя, не особа владея английским языком.
Единственный концерт на котором я плакал когда либо
Дв меня там не было !!! Я бы не плакал - я кончил бы !!!@
Была на Wasp четыре раза, два в Ростове, два в Краснодаре, хотелось бы в Москве, но... Блэки с удивительным не стареющим мощным вокалом это что то, многие уже потеряли голоса, в силу разных причин, надеюсь чудо вокал Блэки останется с ним навсегда. В Ростове поймала медиатор Блэки, чахну над ним))

I stumbled upon this. I was never into WASP back in the day as I thought they were visually unoriginal and too OTT. But this is totally original. I had no idea Blackie had such a great voice, either. Very impressive. I can actually hear all the lyrics, which never happens in metal shows like this.

Clearly they're using backing tracks, but he is still singing the lead vocal parts, not lip syncing. No shame, most bands will, especially when you're recreating an entire album as they are here. This is an excellent performance.
There are only a few bands Rock,metal,country etc. that don’t use not just vocal but also instrument tracks. And some are just singing under the recorded tracks. It’s sad drummers with laptops!

Фигня- главное присутствие. Я в 1987 тоже нафигачился. ДДТ и Разные Люди. Всё равно кайфовал. А концерт в Севастополе давали, на стадионе, которого уже нет.

"Минусовки" - да, прописаны, но иначе альбом не вкатит и будет "сухо" звучать. Подобное Блэки делал еще в 80х, добавляя "кучу" инструментов и "кучу" дорожек голоса. Портостудия - не новье, часто используют музыканты т.к. коллектив физически ограничен. Я не защищаю и не ругаю Стива за подобное - просто это уже давно факт индустрии. Послушайте Рэйдж со Смольским - как втроем можно все играть на уровне студийной записи? Аналогично и тут - 4 чувака стараются сделать все по-максимуму дабы было приятно. Это не гаражный рок-н-ролл времен Helldorado. Всем добра. Шокеру спасибо за видос (и не только этот), хотя и лично побывал на концерте

I was on WASP concert in San Francisco in around 2002. I was driving from Canada 12 hours to see them. There were only about 200 people at WASP concert! What the fcuk with Americans?
The custom guy on US side asked the reason of entry to the States. I said "To see WASP concert in SF". He arrogantly goes "Old school".)) If there wasn't a desk between us, I would've kicked him in his balls for all WASP fans....No I wouldn't.))
O K I’m so happy you got to see them! I would do anything to see them, but I got into them very recently and they haven’t toured here at all in recent years. RIP to my heart
Amen to this. It makes me angry actually. He claims he loves the US so much, but never plays here. I understand, compared to other countries, the metal scene sucks, but cmon. Same goes for Manowar. It's not like they're even selling out in other countries. They basically just do festivals.
Wasp won't tour in America because there's no fanfare. No money, and no satisfaction.
W.A.S.P. doesn't have any gigs in USA.

Great use of lighting just setting tone instead of ceaseless bombast. The video wasn't bad either except 3 screens playing the same content is odd at times. Perhaps at times the screens could just provide more tone instead of the quick cuts.
