Had 2 Fijian boys helping me build a roof. The day the steels were going in(500kg I-beams) the crane was delayed. I went off to the builder's yard to get something and when I got back, the 2 lads had lifted the first beam clear onto the roof. 😁 It was 3m up to joist level, but we had no scaff and they just used a crappy stepladder to help them. I was flabbergasted. We got the rest up, but even with 3 lads it was hard graft. 2 of the most polite, humble, friendly lads I've ever met, but absolute bestial strength.
Are you saying they lifted 500kg? If you are, you're a crackhead.

500 kilogram steel beams and they lifted it up 3 meters on a fucked stepladder?
This is truly masterpiece, especially the moment he comes to help him. The scene changes so rapidly is created so well, I forget they're the same person
Yeah that’s a real actor….🤺
Never seen a lanky Islander. Never met a group of people who are as massive but as nicer as Islanders.
Australia is an island, how old were you when you first realized australians are islanders?
Yeah I've never met a group of fatties like islanders
I've seen plenty lanky ones but in Australia
@@GrowingDownUnder
@Caesar It's just my personal experience, but I am paying attention. 🙂
I love islanders. Gentle giants. I work with a few of them in the office… i wish everyone was as nice as them. Smart people too. They never say a bad thing about anybody else… that’s what I love most about them.
Until you drink with them. Then they'll try to take your head off.
Give them a beer see how gentle.tjey are
@@tbk2450 racist much? Lol

He gets the islander accent wrong.. the accent he is doing is straight out kiwi/Maori accent. Someone needs to let him know
I remember we once hired an islander removalist and he full on picked up the fridge by himself
Epic
No one likes you
Best video, too accurate. I was moving houses back in the day and no joke had an islander removalist pick up my fridge that weighed about 150+kgs and just popped in on his shoulder and said "can you open the door for me g" and walked out like it was just another Monday for him hahaha
That's the thing, they're always polite too, as if you're the one doing them the favour.
I knew a family of Pacific Islanders for less than an hour in a park in New Zealand as a tourist and they treated me like I was a member of the family. Had a sandwich and a cup of coffee and everything. I was literally just sitting down on the grass reading a manga.
As tax payers and tourists in NZ you pay there benefit bra, course your family. The maori dont even appreciate that. They jst burn the flag and say its their right
Worked alongside some islander steel workers. They would eat a whole chicken for breakfast at like 6.30am 😂 Would then throw steel around the job site like it was made of plastic
No better Australian RUclipsr ❤️

I used to work with Islanders at a meat factory. Friendliest people in Sydney, but very hard to keep up with their strength and workpace
Why was it hard to keep up with their strength?
Hands down the kindest people on earth. Always willing to have a conversation and ask how your day is going. They have all beeen raised with utmost respect. I love them so much.
This dude has actually worked with Polynesians he does this way too good
Always love seeing Pacific Islander in the title one of my favourite characters in these videos
I would love to see an antique roadshow with all your characters - islander, eshay, Karen especially!!

The best warm hearted friendliest people ever 🙌👌🏿

Manu seems like a good bloke. Always polite in offering guidance as well adhering to safety guidelines and micro managing his staff. Unfortunate about the end part though but workplace accidents do happens. Bad luck Jake.
And he genuinely cared when he saw the guy was hurt at the end. Let's all be more like Manu
@@schnozz87 hows the import/export business treating you these days Mr Vandelay?
Worked with Islanders concreting, they move it around like it is light as anything. Strong as bulls.
Bro I used to do furniture deliveries with Tongans in Sydney. double door fridge, no worries that’s a one man job. I used to do sweet fuck all 😂😂
absolutes beasts man 😂💪
until the tongans call in sick and you're stuck lifting a fuck ton of weight on ur own

An Islander in NZ had a concrete wall fall on him. It broke his back and he's still walking around just a bit sore. Was on the news.
.... I love working with islander lads. Bloody fantastic.
i try all the time to do your accents, never has it been as good as yours!!
practice always, mine are never 100% but the more you do the better you get
Most are chill AF.
They know not to let life's stresses get into their spirit.
Worked in scaffolding, and an islander started throwing poles at me during teardown, was great but only because i managed to catch them all quick enough.
Omg the editing just gets better and better 👌 👌 I'm expecting series in the near future 😍 😍 😍
Some of the best blokes to work with.
Work in events in the UK, still a lot of Islanders working the event crews particularly in London and this is 100% accurate. Along with Saffas, hands down the best people to work with.
Shaun Johnson and my boys knocked out on the ground never laughed so hard like that 🤣 thanks for always entertaining my late night youtube search shaktv we love you uleh 💙🇱🇧🇦🇺❤
Haven't watched but I'm already laughing I can't stop myself🤣
As a Brit, I had the pleasure of working with the Islanders and the Maori in Australian building sites. Some of the most down to earth people you could possibly meet
Probably very true. Aus must have the good maori, cause they like to burn the flag here in NZ

Man your by far the best youtuber for skits I've ever seen!! keep up the good work and stay safe Shak!! 💯💯
This is all true, I was a warehouse manager for a furniture company and by no means a small man either…but we had a Tongan lad that would just casually carry 100kg couches on one shoulder while telling you about how sick the footy was on Saturday night
I dont want to generalise or sound racist .
PACIFIC ISLANDERS are some of the friendliest chilled and awesome people you will ever meet
They’re some of the nicest humans, but when you hurt their little siblings, they will either smack a volley ball with a fresh serve from Tonga, or they will make you pay in some way. Other than that thankyou shak for uploading today! Enjoy brew, first day of school for me, lol
Your diversity is unbelievable brother ! Always nail it
Manu = one whole footy team 😂

I use to work in rail and those old wooden sleepers are no worries (around 30-40kg) but the new concrete ones are like 200kg+ each and the islanders were picking them up like they were nothing 😂
I like this Islander boss. Chill as F. An knows how to work
2:49 I laughed so hard at the "Benji Marshall" part
LOL! GOLD! reminds me of a time i worked with islanders in a cold warehouse when we had to pack a 45 ft container row by row(each full row had to be photo graphed) with 10 kg cheese blocks.....
The REAL working with Islanders experience is: *ring ring* "yeah this is Joseph, I can't come to work today because my gout is real bad on account of me eating a whole sheep and draining a brewery each week"
Highest rate of gout in the world, poor buggers ... :-(
Hahah but goes to the Pub that Friday haha
Quality skits as always :) You’re honestly a fantastic actor!
This day was a crack up I can confirm Jack is fine and brought us beers at knock off 🍻 🤠
Did you shout him a zinger box ?🤣
When he starts calling out player's names towards the end there is hilarious 😂
I worked in the drilling industry with a few Tongans. One chappie named Saia would casually hoist heavy gauge drill rods to wherever they were required. My nickname for the bro 'human hi-ab'. Hearty.
I’ve seen a kiwi lift a fridge by squeezing the sides of it, up and over the second story balcony. He just slowly lowered it down to the guy at the bottom who carried it back to the truck
Man the throwing the box is spot on 😂 we use to do that all the time working in containers haha top video
Had an Islander offsider on a drill rig, bugger lifted up a 400 odd kilo downhole motor, put it on his shoulder, puffing a smoke & throw the motor on the back of a truck.
Flip side is the bastard cooked fish heads and Kava in the fucking coffee kettle until we bought another one
Haha funny as coent, lol flip side. 😆

prolly in ps4 party chats when we hyena laugh
you didnt nail a pacific islander accent, but at least you nailed a hori new zealander accent
First temp job out of uni was with removal work in Otara in Auckland. I was the skinny white guy working with Māori and Islander’s, had a fun time, worked hard played hard.
As an Aussie I have heard that over in NZ they have crime problems with Maori's and Islanders stealing cars, brawling, forming gangs. All I can say is, we must get all the fucken good ones in Australia coz I have never met a bad one, I have never felt threatened or disrespected once. I was on the train once in a new city and up the back were all these young Maori looking guys, they kind of looked like a gang, massive but young, looked 15 to 17yrs old. They were the most helpful and polite group of young guys you could ever meet, gave me directions to every place I wanted, they made other suggestions, told me which stop to get off at and which other buses to catch. I even felt at some parts of the conversation like they were respecting me as their elder, like because I was a man and they were boys they were putting me above themselves. In this world we have lost our family values, lost our religion, and one of the last and warmest places it is still alive is in Polynesian family's. Their families should very proud of those boys, they have been raised very well.
Shak you never let us down I appreciate you bro
much love broski
Used to work in the warehouse of a place that sold gym equipment.
We had a grip training product called “captains of crush” and one of the sizes only a handful of people had officially closed it.
Big islander fella closed it like it was a tissue.
He also jumped on the pallet scales one day and exclaimed “lost a bit of weight hey boys” - the scales read 165kg 🤣
Your islander ones are the best ma bro! Should have the bro meet an eshay 🤣🤣😭😭
My Bro....Cheers For Making our Traits Funny and as A Maori I am going to Confirm This. You made me laugh hard Bro. I had to stop eating my Kfc and that cos I knew I was going to laugh at the scene when he went to help the bro out.......Far out funny. Chur Aussie

That was nice. Good accents and accurate depiction. These Pacific islanders love this country and like most foreign "visitors" they work harder for longer than the average "Aussie".

This is one trillion percent accurate to reality.
Cpl yrs back was a week into my new job. Removing half a kitchen (water damage)
Work partner a Tongan instead of dismantling the entire kitchen cupboards sinks attached etc. Casually walks out the backyard of the clients premises (I had no idea what he was up to atm) grabs all the kids skateboards & lines them up just outside bi-fold doors.
Looks at me n says “you ok with picking this up just move to the skateboards , cause I can’t be fkd taking it all apart.
I’m like yeah sure no problem. Right hand to God my backs never been the same since.
Not to mention I almost lost conciseness trying to be all strong as him like.
When we finally get it on the skateboards n wheel it safe place. He looks at me n says ! Smart idea yeah Bro 😩
Hell yeah, you nailed the accent, most of you skippys struggle with that!
