Too bad there's no tenchi live 96 videos that I can find on youtube. I loved the album when it came out. Seems like they pretty much sang the same songs as they did in 94. Thanks for posting.. I've never seen this before.
The OVA main story finished with the new Ryo-Ohki OVA which had seven episodes. which makes three OVA series (the first two are often bundled together) in the main continuity with the OVA is also GXP which takes place (chronologicaly) after the Ryo-Ohki OVA (which explains further the new character we see at the Tenchi house in GXP) they are also making another series in the OVA universe which stars tenchi's half brother.
Mihoshi's song is Taiho wa Kaze Makase (Police Magic). All the song titles are in the video description! I'm not so sure if the English VA's would be up to doing something like this. I read somewhere that someone (pretty sure it was Petrea Burchard) hid in the corner with the microphone when told to sing!
Oh and by the way, Yuri Amano (voice of Kiyone) is super cute. I wish she was in the 94 concert. She appeared in the 96 one, but I can't find any videos of her song.
actually Sharyn Scott did a little gig in Santa Monica and did a duet with Chisa Yokoyama though the songs were only the Tenchi Universe OP and "I'm a pioneer" You could tell how the audience responded to that if you saw the video >>; IMO I think they both did a great job despite the "enthusiasm" in the room
@Demonbassplayer101 Unfortunately, American voice actors aren't usually that great at singing! There are english versions of some Tenchi songs of course, but they aren't done by the same actors that do the voices of the character in the song.
Yes she does, but that doesn't mean she was happy about it! Seems like she was very embarrassed... I can't remember where I read the interview... I wish I could find it again!
