I picked up Guitar Hero World Tour on clearance at Target. Is this worth playing, or would I be better off selling it and getting GH5? And is the GH5 guitar better/worse/same? I might play this for a while then buy the game-only version of GH5 later on.
i was quite content with the soundtrack, my taste in music is varied so it was the perfect mix for me. artwork was amazing and looks more compelling, engines and designs are stunning all master recordings. i mean i just cant see anything wrong with this game! its a must buy guys, trust me.

Basically, the guys from Harmonix, who earlier made Frequency and Amplitude, as well as a long line of other music-related video games such as MTV music maker (these guys know their stuff) made Guitar Hero one and two. When Activision bought out the rights to the franchise, they came up with the idea for Rock Band and pitched it to Activision, who said no. So, they left the team and went on to make Rock Band, after which Activision said, "oops, we're dumb" and proceeded to make the same game.
1 question: If there is a song that i want and it isn`t on the game....is it posible that i can download the song if someone has made it? (IF THERE IS A WAY TO KREATE SONGS IN THE GAME) And is it a way to download songs from the Pc and input the to the 360? I`m a noob in theise game. You see i had GH3 a while back, but i didn`t have xbox live at the time =P

Bass in GH is garbage. They dont chart it like a bass, they chart it like a really lazy guitar.

I agree. They took some Rock Band ideas and expanded on them. One example is the band select screen.
