OK Kelley, I couldn’t help myself when you mentioned about the tweezers it’s a must have in this business. When you said they’re really good at picking knots. And I’m still laughing out loud… I said oh” good at picking nose’s too…lmbo… I know you will catch this humor and understand it… but I just had to say it… you know I love your channel and I love you too. Super big hugs 🤗, Michelle

thank you, today I was at my internship jewellery job, and I've worked with beads before (mostly wire beading) but when they asked me to do pearl knots, I couldn't do it and thread kept frying even after burning it, and I felt so dumb, they sent me home earlier and told me I needed to learn so many things, now this is a super basic technique I know, but I haven't done it before and didn't want to do just any knot that would become undone or something because they were real pearls. Watching this I now practiced more for tomorrow, jewellery making is fun but it can be very specific about how they want things done so, thank you so much for explaining this simple knotting technique.

What a brilliant idea for knotting pearls! I used to use a needle for knotting but using tweezers is much easier. Thanks for the post 💜

4 years ago, I won a prize of 3 strands of freshwater pearls. I've gone back and forth with trying to figure out what I'd like to make with them. I've pearl knotted before and love doing it - I think it's relaxing! I learned last week that pearls are the trend for this year... glad I waited! And, you just got me back in the mood to start up pearl knotting again... Thanks! Your videos are so inspiring and educational - Love them!

Bead tips and caps absolutely confound me. I wish I understood how you put that on! I am envisioning having an open side with a hook, with you having to string the knot through and yet you attached it so fast without even stringing it. I wish I knew the how and why of those. It's my only missing piece but a big one at that!

These bead tips are awesome. You just clamp it around the side of the knot. No holes to go through. So much easier than the old fashioned ones. We sell them in 6 or 7 different colors. Give them a try!

Also, this is really a good refresher course… and I am making a very boho type necklace with sterling silver..Actually it’s going to be more like a choker necklace but not as tight and I will be using some gorgeous pearls that I bought at a gem show. Now can’t tell you the rest of the design because it’s gotta stay a secret lol 😂 gosh I feel like a comedian today… oh, and I’m starting my RUclips channel. Hopefully you and I can do a little show together. Anyway, love you bunches. Big hugs. 🤗, Michelle

So pretty. And I learned…go all the way to the end of the silk… or the remainder it becomes worthless without the needle! Deep! Can’t wait to get the nerve to try this again! I assume sizing is length only unless beads are extra large? And you uploaded while in AZ! Yeah for us!

Morning Kelly…great tutorial…I have a question…I have tried using sterling silver bead tips when I knot, whether using pearls or other gemstones, and the bead tips break…the little hook that goes onto the clasp doesn’t seem strong enough…you used an antique copper pair for this project…is it better to use a metal other than sterling silver for the added strength?? Looking forward to your response…best, Susan
