Lyrics:
Do you feel like you're falling?
You've taken this step
In front of you is further from the truth
You fall apart in front of me again
Again!
Denial isn't the way to forgiveness
You always swore that I was wrong
[Chorus:]
Not again
No taste for the crow you feed me
Not again
It's not a matter of if I care
Not again
What an intricate web you're weaving
Did it again
So you try not to follow
While the clock fails to sleep
So here we are back where it began
And toe to toe I stand in front of you again
Again
Denial isn't the way to forgiveness
You always swore that I was wrong
[Chorus:]
Not again
No taste for the crow you feed me
Not again
It's not a matter of if I care
Not again
What an intricate web you're weaving
Again and again
[Solo]
[Chorus:]
Not again
No taste for the crow you feed me
Not again
It's not a matter of if I care
Not again
What an intricate web you're weaving
Again and again
Again!
Again! - Видеоклипы
Aaron Lewis is a pure talent. He sings both rock and country with heart and soul and can cover any song. Not many can.
especially sober and nutshell
Anybody can sing country music.... and I like it ok. I like his lol... but most county songs are extremely simple

One of their best albums . Went back to their roots with this one

“Denial Isn’t the way to forgiveness, You always swore that I was wrong...” Powerful in 2021, as it was 2011...

Going to see them in Reading PA, May 2024
You got your wish several times over.
I still get chills when the first chorus kicks in
Staind has come thru with their best song ever. Simply Awesome.
This song should be way past one million, true music is what this is!! None of that other crap that plays on the radio now, THIS IS REAL MUSIC!!
It’s now at 5.4M
Hi
It's nu metal calm down. The vocalist is a stale wanna be hard-core nickel back. That's why I'm glad we're out of this Era of radio rock. The new shit is worse. But then again fuck the radio
Never has Staind let me down. I love how they are always putting something worth listening to out.
11 years later and sadly no 😢
Word!! I've listened to Staind throughout pretty much every stage of my life 😅I have fav songs from every single album they've put out over the years...my fav was Dysfunction ...I thought they were a little different there than any other time after, their sound started to change. @CoffeeBreak @CalebTaylor
This is why I'd be devastated if Aaron Lewis turns out to be a cold hearted racist.😢
@@kasaeuberlichproduction5981because anyone who didn’t grow up in a city is racist 🙄
Can’t believe this came out ten years ago. I was jamming this on the bus to middle school
I have to say that this is the first Staind song that I have genuinely loved since Dysfunction. Very good work.
Love this song, all the songs off this album are insane. Staind never failed to impress me.
Staind, you're finally home. You were So Far Away..... Welcome back. It's Been a While....

This ENTIRE album is underrated!!! I thought it was sooooooooo damn good! Such a return to form for Staind
i love this band staind rocks they kick ass
This is a great song by these guys....love his voice..it's unique when it's so smooth and raw that you just are mesmerized by that.
Mike Mushok... underrated!!!
DEFINITELY!!! Excellent Axeman...
JAMS!!!
stellar in Saint Asonia
that solo is underrated..
Fun fact but this was an improvised solo and they just stuck with it
@@metalmaniac8640 Yup! Why fix what already works well?!
This is just a completely underrated band
Mike is such an awesome guitarist
Didn’t know it was rated
now,this is the stain I remember! !!!!
This is like...... the best song Staind has ever written. I never used to listen to Staind until I heard this song on the radio and now that I've gone through their past material, it's almost mind-numbing how much they've changed. Starting out as nu-metal with a scary feel to more of a post-grunge/alt metal sound to an almost "slow song only band" an then to this which I want to call alternative metal with a but of thrash influence. I like their old stuff too but this is just nuts. Dat solo!
Most consistent band over the years, not following the trends.
And now 2023
. Oh
@@ghjebus3 Hell yes!!
@@ghjebus3their new song is slightly disappointing, but they’ve not completely lost it like many other bands
GOAT
55 years old and going to see Staind for the 1st time on October 25, 2024 in Austin, Texas @Germania Insurance Amphitheater!! I'm seeing them with Breaking Benjamin and Daughtry. Going to be an epic concert. I can't wait!!!!!
It's good to see that lead guitar is finding its place in modern music, Even though they don't really get to turn it loose its good to see a talented guitar player rip a blistering lead. Too many bands out there with semi-talented rhythm guitarists and three chord songs. Way to go Staind for actually letting a little shred come out :)
This song is kickass
Whenever I need a little taste of some good rock I listen to this song!
What a masterrrpieccce this is
God he's good. His country album just released ain't to shabby neither.
Break The Cycle will always be my favorite Staind album, but there self titled record is a close 2nd. Aaron poured a lot of emotion into most tracks & it made for great tracks. I’m a sucker for good screams & Aaron was screaming like a mad man on this one. If you haven’t listened to the full album, highly recommend
I played my Break The Cycle CD in my car continuously that it literally cracked in the player. I tried to still play it in hopes it would just skip a few word but still go 🤣
what about 14 shades of grey and chapter v?
@@rhiannonpolotov8976 also great but you know how it is when a group has their first cd come out, you’ve gotta listen to each song to determine if you’re gonna like them or not and let’s just say I ended up loving each song 😁
@@lesannmartinez07 break the cycle was stainds second cd. Their first was Dysfunction with Mudshovel which was their first single ever
@@lesannmartinez07 i would even say dysfunction is their best album, break the cycle second best and 14 shades and illusion of progress tied for third
Never ever gets old!!!🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌🙌
great song, great riffs, and lyrics!
omg, Aaron Lewis, screaming, damn good, \m/
That guitar solo O.o
That drummer too! He kicks like a drowning swimmer! Love this shit!
Mike's a great guitarist, and original in his playing style too...
Something was a bit off about it though
I wish the rest of the album was as brutal as this track!
But there were songs on their last album that were even heavier than this song...
Have you heard of Eyes Wide Open?
"Wannabe?"
"Take a breath?"
Paper Wings?!? One of their heaviest songs
Back to blow off steam !!! 🤘🏼👿
Favorite staind song.
Absolutely epic album. Just like EVERYTHING else they do. Aaron has one of the best voices in the genre.
now this is real music. not that bullshit that pop and main music crap
Exactly!!!!
+Russel Owens two good songs outta this album after 2000 surprisingly enough
yes rock beats rap hip hop and country
agreed. too bad Aaron Lewis fell into country. personally I'm not a big fan of his stuff outside of staind
Russel Owens i like is new country music
Damn… this song is the full package… Aaron really brings it 💪
Staind plz come back with great album..We re all fans are waiting..
Saw them in concert a few days ago. They were awesome. This song is awesome. That is all.
Bound For Glory 2011!
The song is awesome. But it´s funny that TNA choose a song by the name "Not again", for one of their PPVs ^^
Best staind album
There's no way to dislike a sound like that!!!!
Deep shit... Aaron alway's taking it to a whole new level!!!
Shout out to my man Mike Mushok on the wicked guitar solo
Such an underrated guitarist, to the point its criminal...
Not Again; No taste for the crow you feed me. Epic song!!!
This is my favorite song by Staind
The guitar solo towards the end is legit. His sceams at 4:14 to the end are haunting.
aaron has one of the best screams ever
This is so awesome it reminds me of old old stuff \m/
Best Staind album since Breaking The Cycle (10 years before this released)
MediaFreak97 It's just Break The Cycle
Top notch song
I love this song, it’s amazing. Whoever produces and mixes these tracks for Stained needs to step up their game though. It’s sounds like they record their songs in a bathtub underwater.
After Mudshovel and Suffocate, this is the best song from Staind
Gibran Lahud agreed
Gibran Lahud “Paper Wings” also.
Agree
I also like Break from Tormented and Just Go
You know nothing
Seen him on the country side with Brantley Gilbert and it was a phenomenal show but nothing like this man. I miss this shit!!!!
that tune and that video absolutely...KICK ASS!!!!!
STAIND! YEAAAHHHHH!!
2023... I'm still 🤘😫 rocking this song!
Never gets old but I do !!🥴😁😂😂🤣🤣🤣
This is on such an underrated album. Great song, great album
Great and powerful song. Agaiiiiiiiiiiiiin!

GREETINGS FROM SALTILLO COAHUILA MEXICO CITY
Por aqui in vegas brother freaking awesome band 63 años y todavia rocanroleo
Just when I'm about to write them off, they always seem to redeem themselves by coming up with awesome tracks like this!
Goddamn.... I have no words, coming back from 15 years ago. You got me through what I didn't even realize at the time, was the most fucked up part of my life. Trails of snot, right now. Thank you...! Seriously, thank you.
How does one not get pumped listening to this
I love Aaron Lewis as a country artist, because I think he’s massively talented and makes actual good country music, but man....I miss Staind. Brings me back to high school.
I was 20 yrs old when this came out. The song would come on at least twice when I was driving to a chicken factory that worked at. Get there at 3pm and leave at 3am and the song would still be all over the radio whilst I’d be all over the road with one eye open trying to not pass out.
Yeaaah! Staind goes hard for this one giving a nice rush!
Mike is so under rated. Aaron may be the voice, but Mike is the Magic.
2021 said "FUCK YES" to this!
Wow I never thought they can create such amazing lead licks in their songs.....I'm impressed with Mike Mushok
gummoboy333
great
That song rocks hard
When a song gives you chills that's when you know it's a bad ass song!! I didn't know Staind was so damn ruthless. That's why I call myself a true music lover because I love it all. I'm a black man from the city of Hartford, CT (born in SC) and the first white music I remember listening to was John Denver(Rocky Mountain High) and Gordon Lightfoot (Sundown You Better Take Care). Blue Oyster Cult, Hot Head Slater and Deep Purple were some of the first bands I learned about. Back then, the thing that intrigued me the most were their names. I tried to make the connection between their names and the music they played. Mind you now, I was just a kid of maybe 10 or so but I loved what I was hearing and have for all of my life. So, if you don't like Rap or Heavy Metal or Country please don't call yourself a "Music Lover" because you're not. You love certain types of music but you're not a true music lover. When I was working in the oil fields of North Dakota I actually saw my first Native American Band called Brule'. That was an amazing group and that's why I love music. It's ever changing and universal. Staind is just a small piece of the musical puzzle.
oh damn that scream!! fuckin love it!! awesome song!
me too bro Aaron Lewis has one of the best screams in rock music
I've read comments elsewhere that said Aaron can't sing anymore, that's why he went a little country. To those folks I say, suck it!
Not into country
He went to country music as a change up and was mildly successful because hes one of the most gifted male vocalists I've ever seen live
@@dirttrackkiddk i hate country but I didn't mind his because like you said you just has that kinda vocal range
Alot of his song are much better than some of his original work. I'm not really in to country but. His songs no matter what it is Just moves you in a way most dont.
I am thoroughly impressed with him as a country artist.
Staind has went a long way down since the glory days. Just the new DVD alone shows a side of them that I thought I would never see. I am not a hater, They were my all'time favorite band for years. Now I think of them as a Nickelback.
I miss Staind but take him either way. This my fav
There's not a whole lot of songs that kick ass as hard as this one!
I miss this band

THIS SONG ROCKS!!!!!!
Epic Powerful Voices & Masterpiece Songs Forever Guyz.
Been a Staind fan for nearly 20 years and was so pumped about going to see Aaron Lewis at Horseshoe Casino only to get disappointed by his show. He just wasn't into it. It looked like he was going thru the motions but just "Not there". :-( Wish I could see him perform on one of his better days. Hope he's doing okay !
He probably hadn't had his Methadone that day...or to early...
welcome back staind
STAIND ROCKS!!!!!!!!
a true classic, gets no better!!!.....what music should be!
This album is so much diffrent then their others in my opinion
Brey Richmond in a way it kind of reminds me of Mudshovel, when they had a harder sound at times.
+Trent L dysfunctional lol
all hail Aaron Lewis

awesome scream!!
one of the best songs of album
I Like Bands We Are Staind,Linkin Park And Hoobastank
Linkin Park should follow Staind's example. After making friendly rock they decided to go back their roots, which is the right thing to do!
they sort of(keywords: sort of) did, on their new album the hunting party
Every band is different in their own way I guess, The Hunting Party was great though!
+TheOscar401 I thought hunting party was a failed attempt. just my opinion
have you heard link In parks new stuff? ( sucks ). I don't want any attempts at giving stained a bad name. NOW IF AARON LEWIS BROUGHT CHESTER IN ON A ACTUAL METAL TRACK THEN AND( ONLY THEN WOULD THAT BE SERIOUS. (NOT TRYING TO INFUSE RAP WITH STAIND).
They tried that, it's called The Hunting Party. And you guys shot down their gift like ungrateful brats.
STAIND just friggin rocks.
I love this song 💕
Luv all off the staind songs, but I am more happy when it sounds more heavy. So please keep on scraming the hell out off me. 😊 enjoyyyyy
Aaron Lewis's metal roar in this song is bad ass!
you should listen to his solo music. It's not metal but it's still pretty damn good for country music.
No thanx
solo is just straight awsome!!!!
Staind are SOOOO GOOOOD!!!
the 227 people who disliked this need to rethink their lives...
I agreed👍👍👍
AGREED
Someone puts a thumb down on a comment someone left...alot if times it gets put as a dislike. It's bullshit, and very misleading.
Can't believe how long it's been since i seen these guys at local shows. To think of all the great times i had back then. Listening to music is like time traveling
Welcome Back Staind, enjoy your all fans back.
I Love Aaron Lewis I been a fan since 1998, they need more songs like this mudshovel and it's been awhile!!
