I hope that happens I so dislike the bracelet on the 41mm . I also changed my Seamaster horrendous clunky bracket with the Omega mesh bracelet

The new one… I’ve always loved the ‘presidential’ bracelet from Rolex. That in the Jubilee are the most comfortable bracelets I’ve ever worn, and the best looking as well IMO. Love the new aqua terra bracelet!
I’m really torn… I’m planning to buy one now and the new one looks too dressy for everyday wear for me. It’s not so clear from this video, but in person it’s for sure too loud for casual wear. But the best thing about it is it tapers more. I guess I will go with the older one, it also saves from hoops to get a new one as Omega is not willing to sell it for the older models.
I love the Aqua terra.. definitely the old dial, definitely the old bracelet… though it has no rapid adjustment
I don’t like either. I wish they’d make a slightly less polished option. I love the watch but hate the polished center links…

Maybe get the rail master bracelet 🤔 their bracelets are fully brushed and I think they are the same size as the Aqua terra bracelets

@@robertkanno2693 you can pick one up for $5,500 I believe. Prices might have gone up to $6K, it all depends on the model though.

Wow! Thank you for the video and after watching the video, I'm considering applying a new bracelet to my old Aquatera. Can I ask something?
The old bracelets have a hook? to the back of the lug, but the new ones don't have them as I know. Is there any gap or shaking? or rattle? flutter? between the lug and endlink when the old AT is fitted with the new bracelets? (Because the new bracelets don't have a hook on the back of the lug.)

Agree. I just picked one up tonight. The shades definitely pop more, but I can't see them having much long term appeal for me personally, and they aren't as versatile.

WOW. A month ago, i went to the AD in oxford street London to buy a metal bracelet for my older 38mm aqua terra. The AD showed me the new AT with that bracelet and i asked if i could buy that and put it on my older AT, the guy said no it wouldn't fit because of some differences in the structure or something. He lied.. and this video came a bit too late
They probably never tried it and was just told it was not compatible but as you can see it works fine both ways. I couldn’t make a video earlier because we didn’t get the 38mm new ATs until recently

the 300 pro seamaster clasp fits on the 120m seamaster bracelet too ,, just thought id mention it , gets rid of the silly dressy clasp and turns the 120 into a tough every day wear.

Yes you can buy the bracelet on its own. Your omega boutique may or may not agree to ordering it for you if you have the old one because in their handbook of parts for each model, the new bracelet is not a set part for the old watch. Vice versa if you wanted the old bracelet for the new watch. However this video proves that it fits. So your AD might be willing to blindly order the part for you if the OB isn’t helpful in ordering the part for you. Omega does not do cross-comparability test parts across different models because they are designed in a certain way.
The 1st generation aqua terra will NOT fit this bracelet. Unable to comment on the 2nd generation. But the case of the shades AT is the same as the teak deck AT. Omega builds their cases similarly across models
Does that mean that the teak rubber straps also fit to the shades model?
I recently bought the shades and am thinking about getting a rubber strap as a 2nd option for Summer

I have the AT 38 and was looking to upgrade to the "Shades" presidential bracelet as well... After seeing this video I called Omega's Boutique to see if I can order one... The SA told me that it's not interchangeable. She said if it was, she would gladly sell it to me... Instead, my options were natos, leather, and nylon... Am I missing something from this video? Or are the ATs here size 41 and not 38?
They’re interchangeable as seen in this video, but they’re advised by OMEGA service that they aren’t.

@@Montreal2833 I spoke to @minutemon via email about the bracelet. He confirmed that it fits! Ordering it from your local Omega boutique store, that’s another story.
My local boutique refused to order it for me at first (Omega Corp policy). But after I showed them this video, they changed their mind. But won’t swap out the bracelet for you (warranty issue) since it’s not an OEM bracelet for the Teak model. You’ll have to swap it out yourself, which is fine for me.

El Aquaterra, al igual que el Rolex Explorer, el Tudor Ranger, o el Longines Conquest (el de el 6 y 12), son relojes para todo, relojes GADA (go Anywere Do Anythink), y se caracterizan por ser relojes duros. El Explorer y el Ranger, de momento siguen siendo relojes así, pero Omega se ha "refinado", dando un aire más de reloj de vestir. Longines ya lo hizo con el Conquest nuevo, de ser 30 bar a 10 bar, más de vestir. Otra cosa es el Hidroconquest GMT, un reloj maravilloso. Pero bueno, el artículo es de Omega, no de Longines. Ahora, para mí gusto (GADA), la mejor opción si lo quiero nuevo, el Railmaster con brazalete, todo sin pulidos; reloj herramienta 100%. A mí ese reloj me ha encantado siempre, aunque el Aquaterra, obviamente, también.

New ones where everything is polished loses a bit of its character. When some surfaces are polished and some brushed, every section pops out and makes it more appealing. The old ones had that right, I believe.
Agree. That's why I purchased the old version myself tonight instead of shades. The new black one is striking at first, but it's far too polished and blingy for everyday use.
