@@PrototypeNinja1001to be fair, the loading screen is correct if there is no shortcuts on that area of the map as the drift + turbo gain will help a lot.

Everyone learns at a different pace, some people get it immediately and others take slightly longer. It clicks eventually
@@PrototypeNinja1001 Could it be THAT much different on controller? I just do the normal air jump. Maybe its just me lol I am a retired old guy, can't teach old dog new tricks.
There is supposed to be an air dodge button which flips you in whatever direction you are going toward. Aside from that I'm a pc player so I don't know the specific buttons people use on controller
@@PrototypeNinja1001 First off thank you for the reply. Air dodge is what I use as my "normal air jump." Does the flip in the air just no where near the same speed or distance.
mag flips can either speed you up or slow you down depending how you take them so doing a normal air dodge into nothing usually does not catch up to a mag flip. this is why its the new meta for this season

is there a difference in result between having a drift through it vs not?
drifting while doing the mag is much easier to pull of a mag but can be slower than directly doing the mag. its two versions to do it however in some cases like riviera where doing a drift mag on the castle can be much more effective. it all depends on the map and how well you can travel on the road while doing these things

I get into a drift and just hold the drift button keeping the car sideways
