I own 2018 apache 160fi 4v done 50000kms+ and its running a taller final drive ratio(15/39) which helps in higher cruising (100@6500rpm)speed and more mileage than stock setup(13/45) especially in highway. I wish you to make a review for this and iam very curious and eager to ride with you @thesportztourer😊😊
Bro I have checked the power band and cruising speed for both hero and tvs.. I think tvs done well If you see the gear shifting will be done at a perfect 4000rpm (apprx) it makes really good. But in hero because of quick pickup they put power band at very low rpm.. So during cruising I think the hero engine is struggling at more than 80kmph speed. Apache does good at perfectly at 100kmph..
i am getting 50 + average in 160 4v , at 4k rpm and 50 kmpl constant speed , i use it for college , 3200 driven till now , i am very happy it is just very hard to ride in 1st and 2nd gear it give jurk due to its power

Hi, I have installed a simple turbo which is very easy to attach and detach and there is no part to fail. For more details, please check the video in my channel. After using it, the ignition became far better and after 15-20 mins of usage, engine becomes complete silent. Now I get more power in low rpms. Although I didn't increased fuel supply.

Hi sportztourer APACHE RTR 200 4V BS6 par Front tyre 100/80 - R17 aur Rear tyre 150/60 - R17 install kar sakte hai ? Engine par ya fir bike par negative effect hota hai ? 150/60 install karneh k baad load toh badhega issey aur koi nuksan hota haii
Better to go for 140 section rear tyre. More importantly the feel of the bike will change, the apache is so nimble & agile because it has thinner tyres as compared to its rivals.

I bought this bike around 2 months and here are my few initial impressions of this bike I have taken it for almost four long rides off around 150 km each w/ two brakes of 30 minute each and the performance was preety decent. Engine heating and vibrations were not bothering at all but the stiff seat ofcourse made my back pain . Now when I come to the negative points , I am getting a quite noticable tappet noise from the engine head while riding the bike at cold start at around 5k-6k rpm . Also the gear shifts are quite hard . I got the bike serviced and tappet adjusted but the issue was still persistant. Now I have switched to Motul 7100 10W40 engine oil and the tappet noise and hard gear shifting issue is somehow 70% solved . I will change the oil grade to 10W50 in the summers .
Shine, Unicorn, X-blade, Hornet from honda is best in feature and comfort of all in this segment. And the quality of honda is above tvs bajaj and hero, low maintenance cost, Japanese brands r way ahead of these, like honda, suzuki & yamaha in 2 wheelers. Vibration free engines in Japanese brands.

I am riding a 2020 model Apache 1604v bs6. recently and got an engine light I don't know why. The service centre just reset that but it comes back, could you please tell me what are factors how to check
Any sensor could have faulty , service centre cannot just reset and move on it can be fatal,, they should have used scanners to find exactly what the problem.... It's not very tough they just need to connect obds scanner and it will show If not clear you can see video of jeet bhaskar( not promoting), where he fixes check engine light in mt 15

As an extreme 160r 4v owner i am getting 41 kmpl in city riding below 5500rpm ( 70 km/hr @ 5th gear). first service is not done yet.
Can confirm the same with n160 as well

No issue, just check swing arm have enough gap to fit 150 mm rear, maximum 1 km mileage drop just maintain air pressure you good to go
