I appreciate the compliment, but for full disclosure; i've logged several hundred hours and numerous playthroughs in sekiro. Its a struggle for sure, but if you enjoy the grind, its definitely worth it. You can do it!
@ first piece of advice, is if you’re coming at this game from a souls background, you need to completely relearn how to deal with enemies; in sekiro, dodging is by far a useless mechanic IMO. Parrying is the “currency” of this game since death blows are tied to posture more than to enemy HP. So while learning the moveset is still required, it’s not to learn when to dodge, it’s to learn when to parry. The general rule of thumb is follow is when the swing of the weapon begins, that’s when you parry. I’m not sure how helpful this advice would be but if you have a more specific question, please ask and I’ll do my best to address that specific issue.
