Glad you think so Daniel! Dinosaurs have been a big thing in my life too, Jurassic Park was the first movie I watched in a movie movie theater when I was 12, I've been a huge fan of the genre and dinosaur ever since. :)
I love the sound effects over the cardboard gun! lol Love your work! Keep having fun!
Haha thank you Fire in a Teacup, glad you enjoy my work! :) (I love your YT name btw)
Your cardboard creations are amazing! I am done with the Velociraptor build and just working on detailing. Also prepping to build the T-Rex for my Halloween display this year. Very awesome work!

That is amazing! You are my favorite prop builder! Keep up the good work👍
Glad you like my work Jakob!! :)
Love the skit in the beginning!
Haha thank you! I had a lot of fun doing it :)
Wow. I have seen a lot of other youtubers make things that you make but yours are the best! like you add so much support in your props and most other people don't really think about using support with their builds and they just glue the pieces so if someone steps on it, its done but with yours , you add pieces on the inside so its strong on the inside and i am assuming can take it if your step on it. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for the kind words YMaster! I try to do my best with these props so I do appreciate that.
Cool this velociraptor is looking like blue.
That was a little bit the idea actually 🙂

Is there any way you could make a video on places people can accidentally screw up or common pitfalls? I could see how something could get really screwed up if if you made the stabilizing cardboard pieces, the little squares and direct tangles, too big or too small... just ideas
Ah, ah, ah! You didn't say the magic word...
That's a cool idea I agree I'll think about it Heather! Thanks! 🙂

Awsome man

you always make awesome please Diy falcon wing
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
Thank you!! :)
Amazing👍
Clever girl...
Cool raptor head you made!
Thanks, glad you think so!
Dude this is so cool how do you make your templates so precise?!
Well that's the real question right there lol making these templates is 70% of the job I do with these props, it is thanks to them that I'm able to make these videos quite short and doable for everyone. But to do so I have to work a lot on them, because of that I can't explain that simply in a few sentences in the comments. But Maybe I will make a series of video about that in the future! Might be a cool idea actually ;)
@@EpicCardboardProps It really would! I know how important templates are and I would really like to know how to make them because usually when I use other people's templates I don't really feel like it's my creation but more me tracing and cutting someone else's cardboard project
@@bruhhh133 I'll definitely think about it thanks for the idea!
OMG!velociraptor was my idea!!!thank you so much epic cardboard props!!!🤩🤩

Epic !!!! :)
Hey can you help me with one thing I want to harden my props ,so that it maintains the shape. What can I use to really harden my props apart from resin because I don't want to use resin please please answer . I really need to know
Well it depends on what you mean by hardening your props, I personally varnish to harden mine quite a bit, but of course they're not as har as rocks ...
Hey.when u send us the templates.are all in 1 picture or u gotta print several of them
They are on several templates of course, A4 or American letter format would be the best fit to print them out! 🙂
Wow! Amazing!
Glad you like it Elbaz8!
@@EpicCardboardProps
I have never seen anything like what you do till last night. I sent to your page and saw that you skill was limitless in what you can build from just cardboard boxes! So cool, especially when I saw all the things you built hanging on the wall behind you. I was amazed at the complexity of some of them like the pulse rifle, stormbreaker and the Terminator arm.
@@Elbaz8 Oh that's a very nice compliment, thank you again! I truly appreciate that.
I'm a simple man. I saw notification, I tapped on it. Liked it, commented.
🙏🙏😉😎👊
I love your work and it's a huge inspiration for me and I have one question how long can the cardboard sculpture last and how can one make them last longer
Thank you for the kind words!
They last day years. When I started all of this I was also concerned by the sustainability of them but I realized that if they are properly coated with varnish, they last a very long time. The 2 first builds I made for this channel many years ago were the Millennium Falcon and Thor's hammer, both are to this day in a perfect shape like they were almost 5 years ago.
what you do is really incredible, they look very real, I was fascinated with this video👏😌, you should do the dilophosaurus from Jurassic park
Thanks for the kind words! Might be a great one to make I agree! I'll think about it Diego Zúñiga León :)
super nice ❤
Thanks 😊
I wonder how you come up with these amazing creations!
Haha well It's a long process to be honest. A lot of work on my computer using pictures, softwares and 3d models
EPIC intro, made my day :-)
Haha glad it did! It was a lot of fun to do 😄
Wow real...🤩🤩

Thanks! Well it is a time consuming build, but with a little bit of commitment it's not that hard ;) and the Spinosaur might be a cool one to make indeed, I'll think about it.
@@EpicCardboardProps omg that would be awesome

Hello! I've been thinking about making a samurai armour, but I don't know what to make it with. I've been thinking about using Pvc, foam, even wood! But I always thought making it out of cardboard would be the easiest (for me at least). Since you have a lot of expertise, I would like to ask a few questions:
1. Is it a stupid idea to make armour (for cosplay and display purposes) out of cardboard?
2. If I make it out of several plates (like a traditional 16th century samurai armour) and connect them with occasional laces, or straps, would it be doable?
3. If it is doable, is it possible to make a relatively smooth finish to it? Like using paper maché and sandpaper, or something similar to it?
4. Would it be durable enough to withstand movement? Not ninja-like movement, but can it survive running, jumping?
Other tips would be also appreciated!
Hey Marton! That's a lot of questions about something that I haven't made! haha so it's going to be difficult for me to give you very useful advices, but I'm going to try anyway..
1. It's not a stupid idea at all, but you have to take into account that you're going to work way more for the armor to feel like the real deal than you would using other material like EVA foam for instance. When you use eva foam when you got the shape right you're pretty much done, using cardboard you'll have to do several more steps to hide the cardboard look of it (again if the idea is to end up with a very accurate armor). Especially the corrugations that you'll be able to see everywhere, like on the large surfaces and on the edges.
2. I think it is doable, but you'll have to make sure that the holes on your cardboard are hard enough to do so. Personally I would just harden them by putting hot glue into them, on the edges ;)
3. Yes it is but as I said in the point n°1 it's gonna require you to do more work than you would with other material. What I would do to smooth everything out is to apply a modeling past everywhere ("Liquitex Professional Modeling Paste Medium" is a very good one for that) and then I'd sand the pieces with sand paper. That works very well. And then I would apply paper on it (the same way I do in my videos) and painting it using acrylic paint afterward.
4. adding a layer of modeling past and one or even two layers of paper, it's going to make the armor quite sturdy indeed, you can also add 2 or 3 layers of varnish at the end for even more sturdiness. Another thing you can do before all of that, would be adding a layer of a mix of wood glue and water everywhere (2 doses of water for 1 of glue) that mixture will enter inside the cardboard and will make it even sturdier once dried. If you do all of that you should be able to manhandle it quite a bit without damaging it too much I think. That being said at the end of the day it's still cardboard! lol
I hope that helps a little bit! :)
Thats so cool and detailed! What are you making next?
I'm working on a Boba Fett helmet ;)
@@EpicCardboardProps Realy! He’s my favorite villain in star wars! I cant wait! When the boba fett helmet comes out, i will make it. 😄
