Loved this movie. I think the reason they died is everything was fake; the food, the sunlight the environment.. it was an artificial environment used to replicate humanity .. an interesting premise as an allegory for capitalist suburbia
I agree, they were slowly being starved of nutrition, and vitamins...is why they became weak over time, and not all at once. The Sun is vital for vitamin D, but with a fake sun, they may as well been living in the dark.
Towards end of movie, when 'Tom' was sick and alien locked them out of house 9, why didn't they like utilize any other of hundreds of vacant homes that were there on the block...huh?
Same reason that no matter what they did, they always ended up in #9. There were no other houses, clouds were fake, sun was fake, so were the other houses. Yonder was a active yet closed maze. Climb over a fence you climb back into your yard. Ever been in an elevator at say a hospital with multiple stops and each floor looks the same, is decorated the same as the next, it can be disorienting.
Sorry for the lack of depth there just wasn’t much to this film. The film seems to be one of those ones that is only interested in provoking questions not answers. In the end it doesn’t matter if the Agents were Aliens or Demons. Working on a few videos on the moment. First video on a video game is dropping Sunday. The Irishman, Magnolia, and The platform videos have been shelved due to them continuing to be claimed. Gonna try to work on them again sometime in the future.
the couple would have survived if they would have molded the kid with morals and principles the kid was being molded by somebody else that was not shown in the movie there is principles of life a child is a sponge they will absorb whatever you show them if you as a parent does not mold them with the right principles and morals the world will corrupt them to its own liking.

It was such a fun, weird & trippy movie , i kept hoping for a reveal about the agents which didn't come sadly, i think it was aliens, i saw one theory that said it was all a video game simulation, i never thought about its social massage on marriage though. Good stuff👍👍
Probably one of the worst ending since The Sopranos this movie was very strange didn't care for it only part I liked was when they were driving in the car and the song Rudy came on other than that I wouldn't recommend this movie good review though to help me understand it sir
Did not like the movie. I saw it with a few others, so may be some group think there. Thought it could have been handled better and was generally interested in the premise. Just didnt go anywhere special or unexpected, though that feeling does support the overall theme and message of the movie.
i am always a 100% with you but here Jesse Eisenberg well loved....WHAT!?! I don't intend to see it because he is in it and that why i am looking at this video.... even in your video jesse eisenberg is a bit too much for me
