Beautiful process, beautiful results. Uncanny the similarities between the first recording and Spawn's baby singing. Where will it lead to? Time will tell...
I’m mesmerised by your work, Holly. PROTO absolutely lives, breathes and oozes the concept of AI. Each song truly feels like funnelling the voice of every person on earth into one tribalistic mechanical entity. It feels so ominous and dystopian, yet powerfully human.
@@ユーザー-p4k I dont know about it being bad or wrong really but the ai objectively has no gender. that being said, a lot of its training data seemed to lean towards female vocals so it would probably be more accurate to refer to it as she rather than he. ultimately though, "it" is the most technical descriptor. its also important not to humanize it too much just yet, ai is nowhere near advanced enough to be considered anywhere close to human, though i believe it will be one day
@@maxsync183 Yes. I was just trying to understand their argument behind it being "bad or wrong." But imo, using the word "she" doesn't necessarily humanize it. People even refer to their cars as "she", like "she's a beauty! isn't she." I see "she" as Holly's way to express how she feels about her AI.
Not to be "that guy" but the uptalk is really distracting. I mean, the words that come out of your mouth are so intelligent, but then you end every sentence as a question, as if you're not really sure about what you're saying.
Honestly, i find that very sympathetic. Artists challenge the way we think about the world. If they try to provide ready made answers, it's usually just a simplistic version of what philosophers and/or scientists can explain better.
I'm a young producer and to see artists like her on these days truly moves me. Proto was an intriguing and enjoyable album to me.
No
to see the difference in sound between this and Holly+ just three years later is amazing!!!
Holly, this is brilliant. You have to bring your baby and the whole family back over to North America so I can experience it in person.
Much love!
Proto is amazing, one of the best albums released this year.

People like you are breathing soul into AI. Thank you, this gives me hope.
Her creativness is so pretty.
amazing
incredible ♥️♥️♥️ love u holly
Amazing!
Hi
Holly is great. But I don't think to call "she/he" the ai would be correct/right/good. Cheers and good vibes
As what pronoun should the AI be referred to‽
On what level is it incorrect/wrong/bad to call the AI "she"‽
I'm just trying to understand. No offense.

The next generation’s Turing test will be if an AI can tell you what its/their/her/his correct pronouns are
She can call her whatever she wants because she created it

FuellingObsession oh yes that’s what it’s called.

I think she has a PhD
Criticizing how a groundbreaking musician speaks is the epitome of being “that guy.”
