In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:

I believe corruption + dead branch + Feel no pain is called Exodia, because once you get all the pieces, there is basically no stopping you. Charon's ashes and Dark Embrace are just showboating.
Personally I think the true power is corruption + dead branch + dark embrace because sometimes you run out of skills with just corruption dead branch, dark embrace helps curb that to some degree letting you extend your turns by way more.

I feel like I must have dozed off in the third act because I blinked and all of a sudden it was play absolutely everything and beat the unfortunate enemies with an avalanche of free cards. Just incredible.
Long time RUclips watcher here. Just now seeing this one. Usually I don't comment, but the positive vibes gave me the incentive to join in anyways. I've shuffled some courses in my Master program for Mechanical Engineering, which is giving me a lot of new hope for the future. I'm also in a great relationship, a girl I've known for a while, but still only dated for about three months. I really love her :)

Personally I dislike Defect the most. It always feels like all good Defect decks are the same.
I love playing Silent. Defect is a close second favorite, but I like watching Ironclad's runs the most.

14:40 Specifically, there are no uninteresting integers. The proof uses the idea that being the first uninteresting number would in fact be interesting. So there can't be any.
The same logic works for any countably-infinite set, so there aren't any boring rational numbers either. But it fails for uncountable sets. Thus there can be uninteresting irrational numbers.
By inspection it's clear that almost all irrationals are, in fact, unbelievably boring.
I find a lot of these Ironclad vids a bit boring - like 90% of them are just 'exhaust a load of cards and have dark embrace'.
Spire is great and even if you think baalorlord has done it all with spire runs there is a lot more with mods for other characters and new relics and cards to make completely unique experiences

i was having trouble sleeping tonight because i just moved and i hasn't unpacked my normal blanket or pillow yet, and it was giving me lots of negative brain chemicals
i got up, dug through boxes at 1 am, and found my normal pillow and blanket, and then laid back down with them
i put on this video to (finally) fall asleep to, and your call to talk about good stuff happening in our lives made me want to share, 8 months later:

Spotted a misplay I think; in turn 1 vs donu/deca I think you could've saved HP by playing the 0 cost corruption since it would've hit the fiend fire instead of secret techniquing the offering. Sure it's one less card for the fiend fire but since it's such a sure win I think it's better to save the HP maybe?
My high school psychology teacher used to do the positivity thing for 5 minutes before class each day. She said it helps improve mood and outlook, so she would (gently) throw a tiny stuffed penguin at us and shout "what's your positive?". Really good memories, so thank you for bringing them up. ❤
I am currently going though your vids, relatively new viewer. At first, I didn't like the low tempo of the decks. This is why I gravitate to some of your peers more. But I started to like the pacing. The beginning of the video manifested that. Positive vibes and a lower tempo is what I need right now.
I didnt have much positivity today, but I hope tomorrow will be a bit more positive. I have this 20 page plus essay due in like 40ish hours and its not as done as I want it to be. But hey, 40 hours later and i'll be free'ish.

i just used an astrolabe and it turned a fire breathing+ into a fire breathing+, and a dropkick+ into a dropkick+, then a defend into whatever. what are the fackin odds eh? would be nice to have that relic always hit another card

Not that it changes anything but a card can't transform into itself.

Hey I'm new to the game and just discovered your channel.
I'm used to fast-paced roguelikes such as 5bc dead cells or 32 heat hades so this game feels so rewarding and interesting sometimes but other times feels just boring.
I think its me that im not used to the gameplay and rythm of the game.
Do you have any tips for beggining? Or even for getting used to the game
