I know this may sound a bit off topic and maybe it is nevertheless this has worked for me time n time again and what is it bro Ken...it's discovering your divine purpose that has kept me many times ( if you know what I mean) I've been on this journey of pursuing purpose now for 30 years in the Lord. When you discover why God had you to be born and why there's a energy n motivation that will n can overcome any temptation even sexual . Many believers don't know what their divine purpose is and that's why they struggle with committing sexual sin... This is the problem not the temptation bc if you know what and the why your focus becomes clear and clearer and your body will die to these temptations , your divine purpose is like a picture in a frame and if something doesn't belong within that frame you need to refocus and eliminate it out of the picture. Many believers fail to do this bc their minds are scattered all over the place and when you have that you'll also have your mind on something you don't need to have on it and fact where the mind goes the body will soon follow...Amen!

I can’t explain how much of a blessing this was to me. Father I ask that you bless her. Bless her journey, bless and expand the gift that you have given her. Bless her family. hi everyone, I'm not one to comment on youtube like this, but I am also going through this situation right now and I think that I desperately need help. I made a decision to leave the relationship because I lost my v card and I told myself that was the end of it. However, it was so hard and uncomfortable that I thought to myself "I can't endure this, maybe I should try again once more" even though we've been through similar issues like this and have had constant problems with sexual immorality. We are both Christian and we never intended to sleep with each other at the beginning of our relationship but temptation got to us. I told him that we should take a break as a couple and remain friends because we go to the same church and it would be super uncomfortable pretending like everything was okay in front of others. But I still talk to him on the phone, and it's just a really thin line that I'm scared to cross because what if we get close and act like we're in a relationship again? No one outside of him knows about this situation and I feel really alone and sad. When I feel this way, I feel like the only person I can go to is him because he comforts me a lot which is why when Jackie said this at 12:52 I felt conviction immediately. I feel like I go to God, but sometimes I feel like He's not listening even though He is, that I just give up and take matter into my own hands again. Thank you guys for reading up to this far and God bless you.
I’m so happy to be blessed with demisexuality, more graysexual than not. I don’t have those desires. Or I didn’t. I’m developing those feelings with my husband now, and it’s such a gift to have waited. May God bless those who struggle. May God bless my brothers and sisters in Christ with strength.

Jackie, I've had your book "Gay Girl, Good God" on my nightstand for about 2.5 years but I couldn't read it. It was too painful. A friend gave it to me because she knew I was struggling with my gay teenage daughter and how to reconcile this with my faith. It's been a journey but God has revealed to me many things. I am now almost done with the book and I want to thank you for how your testimony has blessed me and given me hope to hold fast to God and not let go.

my heart's been heavy since i was a little girl like a brick and clump of dirt on my chest. I just feel so dirty depressed and i can't talk to my family about this. I've actually pushed them away. I've been addicted to po rn since I was a teen. I think that's what added onto my depression as well. I feel like people can see my heart, what I'm thinking. I feel like such an abomination and won't live in heaven. Emotions all over the place EVERY day. praying, repenting. confused on my sexuality too. I don't want to live anymore but at the same time I don't want to go to hell.

Before I ran away from him, but now every failure makes me run to him more.
It's written "Nothing can separate you from the love of God" no sin can. God loves you. Cling unto that love not your deeds. We're all unworthy. Our righteousness is like filthy rag before him.
Talk to someone ! God asked me to open up to my mom, I did, she prayed for me and it's never been the same since then. Sin grows more in secrecy.

The responses here are nuts. But i want to tell you the truth. As someone that has been delivered from EVERYTHING you've mentiomed plus the demons that came with them and the witchcraft i participated in in my ignorance.
For me it took 24 yrs, but it shouldnt have to take as long for you! .
The first step is true salvation through Jesus, i'm not talking about saying a prayer and someone else telling YOU that you're a citizen of heaven I'm talking about ezekiel 36 26, a new heart! Being born again ! .
Get rid of the notion you're a good person before God and that you could please him by doing good things and lay aside ur worldy worries (this is what it means to repent) . (i had an easy time accepting this because i felt awful already), now put on the fact that Jesus paid for all your sin and His blood can wash you clean! . Making you the righteousness of God in Christ.
This is salvation, true repentance makes you brand new thats what it is to be born again. Before anyone utters a word YOU will know, because the Holy Spirit tells us we are new when He comes into us when we are saved.
Deliverance can come after if its necessary after that.
I had to grow in knowledge for my deliverance but chief of all i had to grow in surrender. We often pick up the burden too much, its just arrogance to think we can fight the enemy alone without reading the Bible or without prayer, or true intimacy/transparency with God and other true believers.
Also, 2 chronicles 20 showed me what it means to let God fight for me.
And boi did He fight. My job was to believe Him and not to be discouraged and simply wait.
I hope this helps, hope isnt lost i'm a living testimony i've reached new lows (i have the scars to prove it but im beliebeing Jeuss for my healing) and new heights in such a relatively short time, and im now understanding what it means to run this race as unto a prize! What it means to know that God actually finds you precious!

My heart breaks for you. You are not alone. I used to watch porn too. Dealt with depression and other things as well. I don't know what your relationship is with Lord Jesus Christ. But He loves you dearly. He is close to you. He will save you. He will rescue you every time. He is with you. He has a plan and a purpose for you.
The thing to remember is that we as human beings are not strong enough to fight by ourselves. We need Jesus. Only He has the power to calm the depression and evil desires in our hearts. Its human to want to play with darkness.
But Jesus Christ is the Light. Call out to Him. He will answer. He may not come when you want Him too but He is always on time. Much love!!! My prayers are with you. You have a friend in Jesus and in me. Stay strong, don't give up, keep pushing. Just keep swimming!!!
