- On this hunt we head to one one of our favorite spots when the water is high. Its a cloudy day and not a ton of ducks, but the ones we did work did it right. Hope yall enjoy.

Yes. Also the wind was light and variable, so we had ducks doing it different ways, the couple good groups we got down, our shooters were on wrong end of hole. They swapped, then of course next group came in the other direction.

Stop calling when the ducks are already committed to coming in the hole. That big group would have followed one of those pairs in if you let ‘em hit the water. Good hunt nonetheless! Nice to see guys not just tree topping the whole time
I agree with you, however we were competing with other hunters nearby and if we didn’t stay on them, we would lose them. Thanks

What kind of headlamps are those boys running
No specific kind. I’d recommend stream light. They make a good one
If you want a high end quality and you’re good at keeping up with things. Fenix brand is awesome. But costly
What headlamps y’all running?
Nothing specific. Ms Force is one we use. Just an Amazon head light. Works great but has a short battery life. Couple of us use a stream light also. Really like them.
Is that a red fox lab?
She is definitely stronger red coated than your typical yellow. But she isn’t quite as dark as the typical breeder who advertises fox red

Appears to be an "MsForce Ultimate", you'd have to be able to tolerate a heavy headlamp to use that.

I’d buy gas in 3 boats every day we hunted just to have a seat to ride in to hunt in good duck hunting place like this . our duck hunting around here sucks terrible . Not much for birds.
