I think in Downtown Austin they have a Gun shot detection system in part's of town , This car may set it off at times I'm thinking ? What a nice car / a 4 door daily W/ 617 hp. & Being able to take those turn's like that , the car looks great..! Great review !

@@TexasRevving😂 I know right. The perfect time to do it would be with the windows down when you're pulled up next to a car on either side of you. Activate launch control, look at them right right before the light turns green and say it. Then just speed off with the snap crackle and pop in their faces 🤣

This beast is good looking from every engle. A nicer dashboard is needed though.
There is nothing really that trumps the legendary M5. It set the record back in the day for being the fastest 4 door sedan in the world and even today set the Guinness World Record for the longest drift ever. Amazing machine and each generation just keeps raising the bar higher and higher.

I'm with you on the exhaust. How are you supposed to get a proper cold start if it defaults to normal mode?
It is shockingly throaty even in normal for the first 30 seconds of the day. Last week we hit 60 here in Texas overnight and I was surprised by the noise. However, I do wish it did stay in the mode it was left in, even though toggling M1 doesn't require much effort.
Right... My GT350 sounds great on the startup for about a second then the valves close on me lol
Exoticars19 I’m surprised that there isn’t a tune, a trick or cheat that keeps them open upon startup! I’ve thought of disconnecting the valves to keep them open. But it might throw a CEL. 🤔

i own one of these a 2019. i must tell you, with windows closed it sounds like a 530 d bmw. its quiet and you can hardly hear the pipes . aslo, the seats are nice but after a short while your lower back hurts.

I own a '19 GT350... and work for Ford. The exhaust valves default closed so you can be respectful of the neighbors in your community LOL...

Had 3 F10 550’s because it was and still is the sexiest body style BMW had... unfortunately the new design looks VW passat like.. lost allot of loyal customers when BMW lost their design chief.
I think the E34 and the F90 M5 have the best design to date, BMW really nailed this one with everything. M5 F10 is the only M5 I never liked, looks horrible tbh :P

Not in the competition package. Its a carbon fiber roof, so adding the weight a sun/moon roof would be counterproductive.
Great if you live in Europe. Particularly Germany. Where they have the Autobahn and the Nurbergribg. It's or Canada? Waste of$ because there's too much traffic. Won't push it act harder than grandma in her Prius

Sounds like a heavily tuned turbo engine.
It’s the M performance exhaust. Comes standard on the competition models. Normal M car exhaust don’t sound near as good.

I dont think its a wise move to bring up the hellcat here, fast as it is,its no match to the M5C in every respect, untill the American automobile industry swallows its pride and begins to admit that the germans are the gods of the industry and poach the best of the best, America will remain with only a good sounding V8..

I speak only for myself when I say, Dodge, for me is unbalanced when it comes to balance of luxury, power, performance, and style. Compared to this M5 Competition. No no no. M5 all day. Dodge makes great muscle cars. But that's all they are. No luxury. No real fun cool technology specs like with the M5

$130,000 and BMW puts the most basic calipers in the rear!!!!! I don’t care if the front calipers do allllllll the work. It’s also about looks,and those rear calipers look horrible
