- For 2019 BMW has decided to to take the M5 to the next level with competition trim package. For an additional charge your M5 Competition with have a twin-turbo V8 pumping out 617 HP & mated to a ZF 8-speed. With less weight, carbon ceramic brake rotors, and other tweaks this M5 is going to perform like none before it. Check out all the details of this 2019 BMW M5 Competition!

Love your videos! The M5 is a really impressive car! Not sure if you've ever test driven the current generation 540i - but for the average person it has ALL the acceleration anyone would need along with all the creature comforts. The BMW 5 series is a muscle car in a business suit.

Recently, took delivery of my brand new fully-loaded Bluestone BMW 540i xDrive with M Sport package, 20” BMW individual light-alloy wheels, and M Sport brakes setup. After watching this review, I totally get what you’re saying....the M5 C is really a super fast sedan on-the-market today!

@@elmarberwari7846 and the e63 comes with a wagon variant, there are reasons to go with both (also the speed difference is extremely minimal)

Great review. Touched all the important points. I drove the M5cs 11 days ago in Dallas. Phenomenal car! I’d like to see you change the camera angle to include more of the road. That would help the viewer gain a better sense of how fast the car is moving and how well it’s cornering. Keep up the good work!
The cs is better then the competition or vice versa I was going to get the competition or the c63s coupe or the competition
I think this is the ultimate BMW. I have am M240i which is terrific but this thing is on another league.

Amazing, some people might think he looks aren’t enough for such a high performance car but I think that’s a great thing. You can daily drive an M5 with more horsepower than some Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s and 90% of people have no idea what you’re driving. Love BMW

Yeah...look at those Gloss black accented wheels, sitting there all brake dust encrusted, the way they will ALWAYS look like😯 My wife has a 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and it too has Gloss black inserted wheels and they're never clean for long, can only imagine the amount of dust THOSE clamped put out....oh wait, you can already see how much😋

I'm a fan of both Mercedes and BMW, but for that price, Mercedes wins for interior styling and layout. Not to sound negative, but I'm not feeling those wheels. Nice size, but fairly lackluster for such a beast.

No way this has "only" 617hp man
625 is the MINIMUM they will produce, most will be about 10% over (so it's closer to 690hp with proper gas ... why people see 670 - 710 on dyno).
1) Which is faster? This M5 Comp vs the Nissan GT-R?
2) Is the M5 a better daily car than the GT-R (because of its sedan form with excellent backseat)?
3) Which one between the 2 would you choose?
I would say go M5 all day as your daily!

Just tough considering this when the hellcat Charger can be had for 80k. Charger and M5 are apples to oranges. But still, you can get a lot for 80k with dodge.
Both are monster on the road, but the M5 is fully leather all around and the luxury and the safety technology available, plus the front massage seats. I have an M5 and drove my friend Hellcat Redeye and anyone would be happy with either one. Happy driving

Sorry for being a hater but I would not want to buy this car after your short test drive. You were consistently breaking the BMW prescribed break-in rule of no revving above 4.5-5K RPM while within the 1,200 mile period. I like the review thought - beautiful car.
Do think when someone takes it for a test drive they don't get on it?
