I suspect she's a little underpowered in the mountains, she's almost as heavy as my A8 but down 80hp. Very nice car though, I prefer this to the A4 Avant I think.
Men I purchased this wagon yesterday and I'm really looking for the radio you have the pioneer with rear view and the gps, can you tell me the exact model?
Your definition of reliable is far from what it actually means! The 3.0 engine from this era is in fact one of THE WORST engines Audi has ever made. Especially the 2002 year of production. They wear out their cams, destroying lifters, clogging the oil pump with shavings etc etc. The cam phaser pulleys fail and disintegrate on their own - destroying the entire engine. They also leak and soak the timing belt, causing it to skip and damage valves. Not to mention the extremely shitty pcv system that fails all the time and causes a massive vacuum leak, effectively rendering the car nonoperational, as the engine stalls. Just an awful engine - veeeery far from reliable and that's for damn sure!
Rumen Hristov maybe if you have 150k miles and treat your car like shit with no maintenance. Mine was well under 100k miles during ownership and was always well taken care of. So yes, for my duration of a few year ownership it really was a reliable cheap vehicle to own. Maybe now that the car is 18 years old it could be a different story.
@@spencersteele7 I am an audi tech and I've seen tens of these over the years with always the same issues. So no, you're just lucky. These engines were not good at all. Good for the service department though.
I’m looking to buy a used ‘02 Audi A6 and this video helped get to know the car more, thanks for the upload!
