The problem is that while there is DEFINITELY proof of God's existence, those that don't actually have an interest in finding Him, and instead act like they do but actually only seek to debunk Him will never accept what proof He has given. I don't have room to talk about the proof of God, but just know that, the Bible says that the understanding of Him is a blessing reserved for those who are His children. It's not a trick. and it actually makes sense if you think about it. we aren't ALL His.

Today, our faith is expressed by believing in the truth of what we have been given by God through our spirit. We're called into this Glory by God himself, if it hasn't been given to you yet, there's a reason! Lean not on your own understanding, acknowledge God in all of your ways, and He will guide your path! Where's your faith?
No one decides what parts of the Bible we take literally, it comes through examination of the passage. It's fairly obvious that the the writer of the book of Genesis did not intend it to be a historical narrative because of it's reliance on poetic structure and its vagueness. The Hebrew word "Yom", for example, is the Hebrew word for 'day' in Genesis. However this word carries numerous possible meanings. This is why we see Genesis as an allegory and not a historical narrative.

I researched these contradictions. Strangely enough, all of those "contradictions" tend to be no more than grammatical differences and a misunderstanding of the texts in context. As well as the texts in general. I also noticed that many scholarly atheists don't rely on these so called "contradictions" when criticizing Christianity. Why is that?

1/2. Happily. We know that God did not just go "poof" and create humans because we know for a fact that humans evolved from apes. We know that humans and animals were not created at the same time because dinosaurs were extinct millions and millions of years before humans were on the planet. We know that there would have been about 35 000 species of animals that would have needed to go on Noah's ark, so it would have been impossible for him to gather 70 000 animals from all over the globe.
