- Nice is a beautiful city with so much to offer, we want people to know it’s just as great a place in winter as in summer. We explore key museums, like the Matisse museum, Musée of Modern Art and Marc Chagall Musee. We also touch on key sites to see, Place Garibaldi and the Old Town Nice farmers market. We show the cost savings you can expect from summer to winter rates.
Wow I’d go for the museums alone!! Thanks for all the insight. Their train station is beautiful however I am partial and a shout out to Grand Central in NYC! Frank Lloyd Wright was not alive to see their wonderful renovation.
Beautiful!
You would love it here.
Love the re-visit to Nice! I didn't realize there was so many great museums there! And the Trains! Love the trains!
Excellent as always
thanks alot for the excellent video, is that your real voice ? now days i can be mistaken by artificial intelligence. keep on traveling.
Thank you for the feedback, yes, it’s really me, I agree, AI is scary .
Oh come on, you didn't answer the most important question of all! What was the temperature?
I'm considering going the second half of February. What can I expect for temperature? What kind of clothes should I pack? Can you get in the water?
And would you do south of France, Sardinia or south of Spain in February? (15th-30th).
Thanks!
Ok, fair enough. Most days in the south of France are sunny and range from 50’s-60’s Fahrenheit , due to the sun it often feels warmer. Many French people swim in Jan, Feb, March, it’s chilly, so not my cup of tea but the ocean is calm. Sardinia is about the same as southern France temps wise and pretty empty, many places are closed as it’s the off season, if you don’t mind the quiet it is lovely. Spain is warmer, on the costa del sol however Barcelona, Madrid, interior and north can get very chilly. Costa del sol is your best bet for lots of sun and water temps better for swimming. Hope this helps, I have videos on Sardinia and Costa Rica del sol too if you are interested.
@@goingwalkaboutnow very helpful thanks! In south of France, is it winter jackets or spring coats?
@a004 oh dear, I just wear a down coat when it’s really cold then layers when it’s warmer. I’m gonna go with spring jacket. They are very fashionable , the police even have great uniforms. Don’t forget a scarf, the men are especially into fashionable scarves.
@@goingwalkaboutnow thank you!
