I am awestruck of how they bowed and knelt down before the judges as a sign of their "Thank you" to them. So much humility and gratitude. That is the best of the Japanese culture. It's just so beautiful and humbling personality from them that I got teary eyed as well.

This is one of the best group choreography I have ever watched. Song selection, dance movies, story line, transitioning, attitude etc was all on point. They definitely deserve the golden buzzer. Thumbs up Chibi Unity.

Wow, for an audition, this seems like a performance for the semi finals or a huge performance. It just feels so complete. Also, their bow was powerful. So respectful, humble and thankful.

This golden buzzer actually made me cry, they're anticipation and then them dropping to their knees in bow got me good. It was a thank you worth more than words. I truly hope they go far.
The audition was out of this world, and then what got me emotional was when they all knelt down and bowed our of pure respect. I personally never have seen that... Congratulations!
actual chills running through my body. the way they conveyed so much emotion with so little words…. they’re amazing and definitely finalist worthy
This was dance theater and much more than mere movement. I would love to hear a description of the concept because it got increasingly emotional and very powerful. You could see how shaken they all were with watery eyes right after the finish when the judges started commenting. The choreography was like a Living Prayer and a revolution and liberation of some sort and you could see how much it meant to them.
I got frustration and rage from young people pushed to the edge of sanity at the volatile world we have created, yet still finding love and comfort in each other, dressed and made up like victims of an apocalypse. The puffs of smoke they threw might represent the nuclear bombs going off around the country. I think they touched something in us all boiling under the surface.
Yeah, in stark contrast to the purely acrobatic dance acts, this is operatic, I didn't understand the song but I feel like they could benefit from an original libretto.

身体的な違いがあるにも関わらず男女差が全く見えなくてダンサーが女の子達とわかった時感動しました。感情を揺さぶる表現力と技術の融合で信じられない素晴らしいパフォーマンスでした。
本当ですよね。パフォーマンスが終わって皆さんに身長差が少なくないことに気づきました。ストーリー性とか緊迫感とか奇跡のようなパフォーマンスだと思います。

You guys couldn't have picked a better day to post this. It's Nagasaki Memorial Day and I watched this performance with that in mind. The pain that the Japanese people have been through collectively is somewhat reflected in this dance. (At least in my interpretation of it!) Japan stands for perfection and this is nothing short of that - but added with raw emotion that's palpable! Congratulations. This is what our world should be about: creatively working together, creating beauty! Can't wait to see more.
Well deserved golden buzzer for such an unpredictable act! AGT definitely attracts original acts from around the globe. Can't wait to see what is to come from this dance group!

I'm just from a very small nation with a population that is smaller than many of the big US cities, so I'd like to think that a country this big would be able to dig out plenty of talent for the show for decades to come, without importing from other continents..
Imo it would be logical to have a rule that says that in order to enter the show you'd have to be an American citizen, or at least have your permanent adress within the US borders.. (Well, any country that has shows like this)
The name of the show kinda says its all.. And I think that's a shame.. Maybe they should consider making a global version of the show.. It could move host location just like any other world cups..

I don't even follow dancing, but I can say for sure that they are SO different from other groups. Their movements are tight, in-sync, and very unique! So talented!
I was feeling emotional throughout the whole performance but 7:10 The exact moment they’ve officially made me cry. Love you ChibiUnity! 大好き!
I really like this dance group, I hope they make the finals, and perhaps win. They combine all of the best features of Japanese culture. Starting with total precision and unity, combined with great creativity and beauty, great choreography and music. Not as much physical prowess and athleticism as some other dance groups, but otherwise absolute top of the line. And they are so polite, humble, and enthusiastic. Japan should be very proud of them, as am I for them wanting to perform in America.

The CONFIDENCE in them is top tier.
They flew all the way from Japan to audition.
He was like we saw the champions of last year and we had to get on that stage. And ofcourse Simon had to say he thinks the Mayyas are the best dance act they've ever seen. He was so humble to say "I think so too". But wait and see us.
He challenged them. He knew they're act is off the charts.
I also love how he didn't give anything away and was just like "watch and see".
You don't just think about dance when you watch. It's the athleticism, the Speed, the dedication, the confidence, the Art, the talent, the passion, the perfection, the storyline, the Music, the choreography, the sync, the emotions, like I can't even finish to describe it. It gave me goosebumps and chills, my heart was pumping when I first saw it and now I watch it every single time.
Perfect perfect perfect. I know they will win AGT 2023 with no doubt. I wish them all the success because that was THEEEE BEST of the best..

I disagree with you. Their performance had no difficult dance moves, only decent moves. choreography was good but overall , iop it doesn't deserve golden buzzer.

A painting masterpiece doesn't have to have difficult brush strokes to be more powerful than one that does. I suspect that this was especially powerful in person.

The musicality of the entire dance was insane. It was like their movement were instruments. And there were so many elements, even them picking up their clothes to a rhythm was incredible
I thought i am the only person that crying through half of the performance.. it was so intense and deep.. the last dancer who is standing in the end was giving me most goosebumps, she was really into it.. like she was lost in the dance.. even though the performance was over.
The moment they all knelt down after pressing the golden buzzer was so powerful. Like it’s showing how thankful they are for giving that golden buzzer.
AGT really knows how to pull heart strings. I’m crying 😭

Been to Japan last Spring and will visit again during winter of 2024. I was so impressed by how Japanese have perfected the art of 'perfection'. They're not a perfect country but we have so much to learn from them. Congratulations!

I've known cleopatrick for such a long time and was shocked to hear this song on their performance. Chibi unity did such a great job. I am excited to see them along with the other Japanese dance group continue in the competition.

The two kids who have always wanted to go to Japan were amazing and hearing them say fair enough got me thinking how mature they are and were their greatest supporters. The audition was amazing and seeing them kneel and bow in uniform to appreciate the chance of going to the live show was phenomenal. I loooooove.

That's two mind-blowing Japanese dance groups this year. Couple of months ago it was a girls group called Avantgardey (they should have also got a golden buzzer btw). For some reason, I don't think it's a coincidence.
This dancing is another level... The concept is amazing... Dude... It's something different and unusual... They deserved golden buzzer...

I can feel the noise of the audience, as you all dance. their screams did not stop, everyone was obviously shocked. the art of making, well prepared. the dancing fits the music, original choreo. unique and like you watched a tv show. nothing like it and I've never seen anyone do it except them. they deserve to be given a golden buzzer.

When the group knew they were getting the golden buzzer they were so happy and you could literally see it in their eyes, like they were almost going to burst into tears. They were so proud of themselves and the fact that they flew all the way to the US makes the golden buzzer even more special for them. This audition was literal perfection and im happy that the judges made this decision!

I’m awestruck by them. Not only was their choreography, energy, ambience, and music brilliant but their humility and personalities were just so heartwarming. I wish I could watch this for the first time all over again.
This was a flawless audition! Like Sofia, I had goosebumps! I love the music, the intensity of the dance moves was hypnotic. A well deserved golden buzzer! The talent that comes out of Japan is in-f**king-sane. Mindblowing.
